16.00 Special exhibition “Í skugganum” (In the Shadow) opens. The story about the first female photographers from Denmark, Iceland and the Faroes. The women worked as independent photographers during different periods from 1872 to 1925. The exhibition shows their imagination and their horizon when dealing with staging and documentation, the aestethic and the technical.
The Museum will offer treats, and there will be explanation of the exhibition. The event is open to the public, and admission is free.

At the same time it will be possible to try some of the physical tests, which are applied in the admission exam at the police school.

While waiting they can make a drawing depicting hospital activities. Drawings will be on display for a few days in the entrance hall subsequently. At the main entrance there will be ambulances which are open to visitors, children and teddybears.
18.00-19.00 A walk in the tunnel and the War hospital. Start at Eirargarð 13, Admin. Building. We walk the tunnel under Eirargarður and onwards under J.C. Svabosgøta further down to the green building. Along the way we’ll stop and explain where they were planning to build a hospital during the cold war. The walk is c. 1 km. long takes about 20 minutes.
