CHECK- OUT AT A HOTEL (Template) RECEPTIONIST:

Greets, including part of the day (morning, afternoon, evening) (sir /madam) and offers help. e.g. Good morning, madam. How may I help you?

GUEST:

Greets, including part of the day (morning, afternoon, evening) and says that he/she wants to checkout. e.g. Good morning. I would like to settle my bill, please.

RECEPTIONIST:

Asks for key/key card... e.g. Just a moment, madam. Could I have your key card, please?

GUEST:

Gives his/her key/key card... e.g. Of course. Here you are.

RECEPTIONIST:

Gets the bill ready and offers the guest to check it. e.g. Here you are, madam. Would you mind checking it?

GUEST:

Checks the bill and agrees/disagrees with it e.g. Everything is perfect.

RECEPTIONIST:

Confirms the guest how he/she is going to pay e.g. You were planning to pay with Mastercard, weren ´t you?

GUEST:

Agrees/disagrees with the receptionist e.g. That´s right.

RECEPTIONIST:

Asks for the guest´s passport or ID e.g. Could I have your passport, please?

GUEST:

Gives his/her passport or ID e.g. Here you are.

RECEPTIONIST:

Asks the client to sign the receipt e.g. Could you sign here, please?

The guest signs the receipt GUEST:

Thanks the receptionist e.g. Thank you very much indeed.

RECEPTIONIST:

Thanks the client and says goodbye e.g. Not at all, Mrs. Wilson. We do hope to see you again in our hotel. Goodbye!

GUEST:

Says goodbye e.g. Goodbye!
