Welcome to VIMS Marine Science Day! There is NO CHARGE for activities, tours, or shuttle service. Hot sandwiches, snacks, and drinks are available for purchase from The Kiwanis Club and Ben & Jerry’s located near the Kids’ Marine Science Pavilion. VIMS Marine Science Day T-shirts are available for purchase in the VIMS Gift Shop, located in Watermen’s Hall, and in the Welcome Booth. Restrooms are located in Watermen’s Hall (wheelchairaccessible restrooms are across from the elevator), Nunnally Hall (Fisheries Collection), and Chesapeake Bay Hall. Portable toilets are located in the Boat Basin. The Parade of Marine Life begins at 11:00 am from the parking lot behind the Welcome Booth (weather permitting).
