Swami Divyananda in Singapore Swami Divyananda, a Trustee of the Ramakrishna Math and a Member of the Governing Body of the Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math paid a visit to Singapore from 20 to 23 September 2017. He concurrently holds the position of Head of Ramakrishna Mission Saradapitha, Belur Math, a highly esteemed group of educational institutions in India. He was accompanied by Swami Tattwasarananda, Principal of the Ramakrishna Mission Shikshanamandira in Belur. During their stay at the Singapore Ramakrishna Mission, they attended several programmes. Both the Swamis were taken round the campus. They evinced keen interest in seeing the WINGS Counselling Centre, Sarada KG and Boys’ Home. A meeting with the exstudents of Ramakrishna Mission educational institutions like Saradapitha, Rohara, Narendrapur etc. took place. helm of affairs. In ‘A Satsang with a Monk’ programme, he explained the essential conduct for leading a spiritual life. It was largely attended by devotees of the Mission. Both the Swamis attended the Launch of the Silver Jubilee celebration of the Sarada KG. This was held at the Bartley Church Hall. Swami Divyananda inaugurated the celebration and spoke touchingly about his experience with the students.

Charity Art Exhibition A Charity Art Exhibition was held during Sri Sri Durga Puja days at Temple Hall, Level 1 from 27 to 30 September 2017. This was an initiative by ArtMsters.com, a group of 16 emerging and established artists from Singapore and India. 32 exclusive oil/acrylic paintings were on display. A Portion of the proceeds of every painting was donated to the Ramakrishna Mission Boys’ Home. On the last day of Vijaya Dashami all paintings were sold out. Ms Gloria Keh, one of the senior Artists said that her artwork “was bought by a kind hearted doctor at the recent charity art exhibition at the Ramakrishna Mission Singapore, with a generous donation in support of the Boys Home… the sale of this painting has taught me how important it is to have FAITH”. She has donated 100% of her sales to the Boys’ Home. Ms Gargi Sen, one of the Founders of the artmsters.com' Charity Project said, "When I came to know about the boys of RKM in Singapore, I thought of giving away my paintings for the
welfare of these boys. With Maharaj ji's blessings, along with other 15 artists we are donating part of the proceeds of the 32 original paintings to raise funds for these boys.” Another established Singapore artist J Kalidass

The artists of ArtMsters.com who participated in a Charity Art Exhibition held at Ramakrishna Mission where part of sales proceeds were donated to the Boys’ Home. All paintings were sold out during the Durga Puja period of four days from 27 to 30 Sept 2017.
