VILLA DESCRIPTION VILLA I1092 IN SELVAZZANO DENTRO / PADOVA, VENETO, ITALY Villa Capodilista was built in 1568 as a hunting pavilion by the painter and architect Dario Varotari, a pupil of Paolo Veronese. The frescoes in the rooms depict scenes from mythology and the familyâ s history. In order to blend in with the hilly landscape, a perfectly symmetrical building was designed with a square plan. Each faÃ§ade has loggias on two floors. The indoor layout of the rooms follows the same symmetrical pattern.
