Village Center Campsites specific terms & conditions of sale Registered with Atout France as travel and holiday operator No. IM034100011 with financial guarantees from RCP ALLIANZ Paris and LCL. In accordance with article R211-14 of the French Tourist Code, Village Center offerings to our customers comply with the General Sales Conditions laid down in articles 211-5 to 211-13 of the Tourist Code. These can be consulted on our www.village-center.com Web site or on request from our booking centre. These specific terms and conditions supplement the aforementioned General Conditions. 1. OUR OFFERINGS Pitches: By pitch we mean an unoccupied space for receiving your tent, caravan, or campervan. Our rates are calculated on the basis of two guests. The rates include, among any other services, one night for two persons in a tent, caravan, or campervan, electricity, parking of one vehicle on or close to your pitch, access to reception amenities and toilet blocks, and activities and entertainment. For each additional guest above two, up to a maximum of six additional guests, there is a per-guest price supplement (which varies depending on the campsite and period). There is also a per-vehicle supplement for each vehicle after the first. Accommodation: The accommodation in a campsite consists of mobile homes, chalets, furnished tents, Mongolian yurts, and canvas roof chalets. On the Domaine d’Anghione site, accommodation consists of houses. Tents may not be pitched in the grounds of rented accommodation in our campsites. We remind customers that when rented accommodation states a set number of occupants, it can not in any event be lived in by more than this number of persons. Young children are considered full occupants, regardless of their age. The price includes one night for 2 to 8 guests in the selected type of accommodation (e.g., the price for a mobile home occupied by 4 persons is calculated per mobile home, not by the number of the persons occupying it), and also includes water, gas, electricity, parking of one vehicle close to your accommodation, access to reception amenities, and activities and entertainment. All our accommodation has the basic minimum equipment (welcome kit with cleaning products and toilet paper) but excludes bed linen, which can be rented on site, and bathroom linen, which is not supplied and must be provided by the customer. Each extra vehicle is subject to a supplemental charge. At the end of their stay, visitors must leave the accommodation fit for re-use, clean and tidy, with kitchen and tableware washed, dried, and put away. At certain sites there can also be other supplements to pay at the site itself, for example, amenities managed by outside providers. 2. OUR RATES The rates in this catalogue remain valid until 28th February, 2012. The price of pitches and accommodation rentals are shown in euros and include VAT. They do not include Visitors’ Tax (set individually by each municipality), daily charges for pets, fees for optional activities provided by outside providers, the deposit, or options such as baby kits, bed linen, and supplementary services (variable from site to site). For the 2012 season, high season/peak season mean 7th July to 25 th August inclusive. All periods failing outside this high season are considered off-peak periods. Reductions: The reductions mentioned in the catalogue apply to accommodation and pitch fees only. They do not apply to service charges (unless a specific offer exists) nor to any extras (restaurants, body care centres, etc.). Any reductions do not apply at our partner sites unless specifically mentioned. 3. YOUR BOOKING Early bookings: Booking requests sent by letter must include a cheque for the deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay plus the whole of the insurance premium and the administration fee. The balance must be paid in full 30 days before your arrival date without needing a reminder, failing which we reserve the right to consider your booking cancelled and reclaim the cancellation charges provided for in article 7 of the General Sales Conditions. Last-minute bookings: Stays booked less than a month before the start of the stay must be paid for in full at the time of booking. 4. PAYING FOR YOUR STAY Village Center accepts the following payment methods for your deposit and balance: personal cheques, postal cheques (France), or Eurocheques made payable to “Village Center”, Chèques Vacances (France), credit and debit cards, and money orders. Village Center is registered with Agence National pour les Chèques Vacances (ANCV). If you pay by Cheque Vacances, we advise you to send your duly completed cheques by registered (sign-for) mail. You can book your stay on the Village Center www.village-center.com Web site or by calling a central booking office adviser on +33 (0)4 99 57 21 21. 5. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE Accommodation: - The minimum stay in the high season is 7 nights. Arrivals should take place on Saturdays between 5pm and 8pm and Departures on the final Saturday before 10am. - The minimum stay in the off-peak season is 2 nights. Arrivals should take place no earlier than 5pm and departures no later than 10am. Pitches: There is no fixed day of the week for arrival or departure. Arrival can take place from Monday to Sunday, with no minimum number of nights. Your arrival must take place no earlier than 12 noon and your departure no later than 11am, any day of the week. 6. BOND For stays in rented accommodation, you will be asked for a €150 bond when checking in at any campsite in the Village Center chain, consisting of two separate payments of €100 and €50, either by debit/credit card or by cheque in euros. This bond will be returned to you at the end of your stay or sent to you within 5 working days by letter. The €100 instalment shall be forfeited to Village Center in the event of damage or degradation caused to the accommodation and its contents. The €50 instalment shall be forfeited to Village Center to pay cleaning costs for accommodation that is not left clean and tidy. Lost identity bracelets will be charged to you at €8 per bracelet. For stays in rented accommodation on campsites outside French soil, you will be asked for a bond of €300 upon arrival, payable by credit or debit card, and this will be returned to you at the end of your stay or sent to you within 5 working days by letter. 7. CANCELLATIONS The French Consumer Code governing accommodation and boarding services does not grant customers the automatic right to cancel bookings made by phone, by letter, or electronically. Village Center nonetheless allows all its customers to cancel their booking subject to certain conditions: Any customer wishing to cancel a stay must do so by registered (sign-for) letter with acknowledgement of receipt, and this will be considered to take effect from the date of receipt. Your cancellation letter must be sent directly to the booking centre (Village Center – CS 80096 – 34202 Sète cedex – France). Certain costs will be incurred by the customer depending on the date the cancellation takes effect, i.e., the date the cancellation letter is received by Village Center: If the cancellation occurs - 60 days or more before your arrival date, the administration fee is kept by Village Center - 59 to 30 days before your arrival date, the 30% deposit on the total price of the stay and the administration fee are kept by Village Center - 29 to 15 days before your arrival date, 50 % of the total price of the stay is kept by Village Center along with the administration fee - 14 days or less before your arrival date, or if you fail to check in at the site, the full price of the stay and the administration fee are kept by Village Center In the event of cancellation by Village Center that is not due to circumstances beyond its control, the customer can claim similar indemnities. The Village Center Company is insured with Mondial Assistance against cancelled/shortened stays of which it is the initiator. 8. EARLY TERMINATION OF STAYS If you terminate your stay early, Village Center will not refund any part of the price. You can however take out cancellation insurance cover with Mondial Assistance. If there is a valid reason for departure as defined in the terms, you may claim a refund for any unused days along with any end-of-stay cleaning fees. You will need to notify the insurance company of your early departure on the same day as you leave. The insured party can not demand any refund, replacement, or compensation directly from the provider. 9. CHANGES TO BOOKINGS Village Center allows you to change the location and dates of your stay during the off-peak season. This change, which requires payment of a supplement, may be made once only in the calendar year and must be notified in writing (letter or e-mail) 5 days before your date of arrival. Such changes cannot be presumed accepted until you receive notification to this effect from Village Center in writing. The validity of this offer is subject to spare places being available at the changed destination. 10. CANCELLATION INSURANCE Prices shown in the catalogue do not include cancellation insurance. The option will be put to you during your direct on-line booking or by one of our Village Center advisers for the refund of your cancelled or shortened stay costs. The insurance terms and conditions will be sent to you with your booking acknowledgement and can also be consulted on our www.village-center.com Web site. 11. MINORS Village Center reserves the right to refuse minors who are not accompanied by their parents. For full details on this, please ask our booking centre. 12. PETS Most of our campsites accept pets subject to a fee being paid on arrival. Pets are not allowed in and around the swimming pools. One single animal is allowed per rental. The pet’s vaccinations must be up to date and its health papers must be produced on request. Pets must be kept on a leash within site bounds. Certain types of dog, classed as category 1 or 2 in the revised French Rural Code (e.g., pit bull terriers), are prohibited. 13. SITE RULES To make things easier for you during your holidays, site rules are posted at the site entrance and in reception. Please read and abide by them. Certain precautions should be taken to avoid spoiling your holidays: lock your windows and doors when leaving your accommodation. 14. LIABILITY In accordance with current French legislation, open air hotel accommodation does not fall within the scope of hotel operator liability provisions. Consequently, Village Center’s liability cannot be engaged in the event of loss, theft, or degradation of personal effects in our campsites, car parks, or communal buildings (cycle sheds, toilet blocks, etc.). 15. COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS Any complaint or claim relating to a Village Center trip or stay must be sent by registered (sign-for) letter with acknowledgement of receipt to our customer services within 30 days of the end of the stay. COMPUTERS AND YOUR RIGHTS In accordance with French law on computers and liberties, all buyers have the right to access, modify, rectify, and delete data carrying their name or concerning them kept by the seller when purchasing holidays. JURISDICTION Any litigation arising from the purchase or taking of a holiday or relating to the execution or interpretation of the General Sales Conditions shall come under the jurisdiction of the courts in the locality where the campsite is situated.

In accordance with article R211-14 of the French Tourist Code, Village Center offerings to our customers comply with the General Sales Conditions laid down in articles 211-5 to 211-13 of the Tourist Code. These can be consulted on our www.village-center.com Web site or on request from our booking centre. These specific terms and conditions supplement the aforementioned General Conditions. 1.OUR OFFERINGS Accommodation: The accommodation in a tourist holiday home consists of furnished flats and houses. We remind customers that when rented accommodation states a set number of occupants, it cannot in any event be lived in by more than this number of persons. Young children are considered full occupants, regardless of their age. The prices given are per night per flat or house for the dates and duration of the selected holiday, irrespective of the number of persons who might occupy it up to the allowed maximum. They include the use of the flat or house and also water, gas, electricity, parking of your vehicle close to your accommodation (except at Village Center holiday home Le Saint-Clair), access to reception amenities, and activities and entertainment. All our accommodation has the basic minimum equipment (fridge, microwave oven, hotplates, kitchen- and tableware) but excludes bed linen and bathroom linen, which can rented at the location. For hotel-service stays, bed linen and bathroom linen are included, along with television, Internet (where available), and end-of stay cleaning (except kitchen and tableware). A detailed description of rented accommodation is supplied on request or found on our www.village-center.com Web site (you can contact a Village Center Gestion adviser on +33 (0)4 99 57 21 21. The accommodation plans we show are not contractually binding. The actual room layout or decoration can differ slightly from that shown in the drawings but this does not affect the housing capacity. Amenities at or near the holiday homes: Access to these amenities is included in the rates. In some holiday homes an extra fee may be payable at the location for certain facilities (e.g., golf, body care, etc.), which might be managed by outside providers. Services: Certain services, notably swimming pools, grocery shops, bars, activities/entertainment, and children’s clubs, are not open all year round. Activities and entertainment: These are free of charge and can be accessed by anyone having a Village Center booking. They are shown for guide purposes only. If necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, they may be partly or wholly changed during your stay; in such event they cannot give rise to any refund or price reduction or be the subject of litigation. Price supplements: These are shown on our Web site and cover the following items: accompanying pets (one only per flat or house), bed linen, bathroom linen, TV hire, Internet access, telephone, housekeeping service, insurance, breakfast, parking at Le Saint-Clair holiday home, and cycle hire. At certain holiday homes there can also be other optional extras to pay (golf, fitness, body care) at the holiday home itself; these may be managed by outside providers. 2.OUR RATES The rates in this catalogue remain valid until 28th February, 2012. The prices shown in our catalogue are in euros and include VAT. They include accommodation and utility charges (water, electricity, heating). They do not include the administration fee, Visitors’ Tax (set individually by each municipality), daily charges for pets, fees for optional activities provided by outside providers, the deposit, breakfast and other meals, options such as bed linen, housekeeping, and supplementary services (variable from holiday home to holiday home). For the 2012 season, high season/peak season mean 7th July to 25 th August inclusive. All periods failing outside this high season are considered off-peak periods. Accommodation: The minimum stay is 1 night in off-peak season and 7 nights Saturday to Saturday in the high season (7th July to 25th August, 2012). Visitors’ tax: Visitors’ tax is a tax charged by local authorities to tourists staying at a boarding establishment in their municipality. The amount is set individually by the authority and varies according to the length of the stay and the taxation period. This tax applies to adults and also to children over a certain age. It is payable upon arrival at our holiday home. Municipalities may modify this charge at a minute’s notice Reductions: The reductions mentioned in the catalogue apply to accommodation only. They are not available at Hôtel Club Monte Bianco. 3.YOUR BOOKING Early bookings: Booking requests sent by letter must be include a cheque for the deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay plus the whole of the insurance premium and the administration fee. The balance must be paid in full 30 days before your arrival date without needing a reminder, failing which we reserve the right to consider your booking cancelled and reclaim the cancellation charges provided for. Last-minute bookings: Stays booked less than a month before the start of the stay must be paid for in full at the time of booking. 4.PAYING FOR YOUR STAY Village Center accepts the following payment methods for your deposit and balance: personal cheques, postal cheques (France), or Eurocheques made payable to “Village Center Gestion”, Chèques Vacances (France), credit and debit cards including American Express, and money orders. Village Center is registered with Agence National pour les Chèques Vacances (ANCV). If you pay by Cheque Vacances, we advise you to send your duly completed cheques by registered (sign-for) mail. You can book your stay on the Village Center Gestion www.village-center.com Web site or by calling a central booking office adviser on +33 (0)4 99 57 21 21. 5.ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE Keys will not be issued at check in unless you have paid the price of your stay in full. High season, 7th July to 25th August, 2012: all stays are multiples of 7 nights Saturday to Saturday, with check in between 5pm and 8pm and departure no later than 11am. Off-peak season, 1st January to 7th July, 2012 and 25th August to 31st December 2012: the minimum stay is one night with arrival from 5pm onwards and departure no later than 11am. State of accommodation: the flat or house is made available in a proper state of housekeeping and repair. You must make reasonable use of the accommodation and take reasonable care of it. An inventory is posted in each flat or house. You should check the quantities and states of the items on this list on arrival and notify reception of any discrepancies or damage within 4 hours of arrival. At the end of their stay, visitors must leave the accommodation in a good state of repair, clean, and tidy, with kitchen and tableware washed, dried, and put away. Any missing items or damage to the accommodation will be charged to you. The holiday home management reserve the right to enter the rented premises for safety reasons or for any other emergency measure. 6.BOND You will be asked for a €300 bond when checking in at any holiday holiday home in the Village Center Gestion chain, consisting of two separate payments by debit/credit card or by cheque in euros. The first of these payments represents a cleaning charge based on the number of rooms in the accommodation (price details on page 131 of the 2012 catalogue). If you fail to do the necessary housekeeping before your departure, this sum will be forfeited. The second payment represents the balance of the €300 total. In the event of damage or degradation to the accommodation and its contents, depending on the extent of these, this payment shall be forfeited to Village Center Gestion. These sums will be repaid to you upon satisfactory inspection of the premises at the end of your stay or sent by letter within 5 days of this date after deduction of any damage costs or unpaid service fees. 7.CANCELLATIONS The French Consumer Code governing accommodation and boarding services does not grant customers the automatic right to cancel bookings made by phone, by letter, or electronically. Village Center nonetheless allows all its customers to cancel their booking subject to certain conditions: Any customer wishing to cancel a stay must do so by registered (sign-for) letter with acknowledgement of receipt, and this will be considered to take effect from the date of receipt. Your cancellation letter must be sent directly to the booking centre (Village Center – CS 80096 – 34202 Sète cedex – France). Certain costs will be incurred by the customer depending on the date the cancellation takes effect, i.e., the date the cancellation letter is received by Village Center Gestion. If the cancellation occurs - 60 days or more before your arrival date, the administration fee is kept by Village Center - 59 to 30 days before your arrival date, the 30% deposit on the total price of the stay and the administration fee are kept by Village Center Gestion - 29 to 15 days before your arrival date, 50 % of the total price of the stay is kept by Village Center Gestion along with the administration fee - 14 days or less before your arrival date, or if you fail to check in at the holiday home, the full price of the stay and administration fee are kept by Village Center Gestion We advise you to take out insurance against cancelled/shortened stays in order to obtain a possible refund in such circumstances. If you fail to check in at the holiday home on the arrival date and have not cancelled, Village Center Gestion reserves the right to bill you for the amount of the deposits paid at the time of booking. In the event of cancellation by Village Center Gestion that is not due to circumstances beyond its control, the customer can claim similar indemnities. The Village Center company is insured with Mondial Assistance against cancelled/shortened stays of which it is the initiator. 8.EARLY TERMINATION OF STAYS If you terminate your stay early, Village Center Gestion will not refund any part of the price. You can however take out cancellation insurance cover with Mondial Assistance. If there is a valid reason for departure as defined in the terms, you may claim a refund for any unused days along with any end-of-stay cleaning fees. You will need to notify the insurance company of your early departure on the same day as you leave. The insured party cannot demand any refund, replacement, or compensation directly from the provider. 9.CHANGES TO BOOKINGS Village Center Gestion allows you to change the location and dates of your stay during the off-peak season. This change is free of charge and may be made once only in the calendar year and must be notified in writing (letter or e-mail) 5 days before your date of arrival. Such changes cannot be presumed accepted until you receive notification to this effect from Village Center Gestion in writing. The validity of this offer is subject to spare places being available at the changed destination. 10.CANCELLATION INSURANCE The main accommodation service price does not include cancellation insurance. The option will be put to you during your direct on-line booking or you can ask our booking call centre (“extra” > “repayment of your cancellation costs” option). The insurance terms and conditions will be sent to you with your booking acknowledgement and can also be consulted on our www.village-center.com Web site. 11.PETS Most of our tourist holiday homes accept pets subject to a fee being paid on arrival. Pets are not allowed in and around the swimming pools. One single animal is allowed per flat or house. The pet’s vaccinations, especially rabies, must be up to date, and its health papers must be produced on request. Pets must be kept on a leash within holiday home bounds. Certain types of dog, classed as category 1 or 2 in the revised French Rural Code (e.g., pit bull terriers), are prohibited. 12.Holiday home RULES To make things easier for you during your holidays, site rules are posted at the reception desk or in each house or flat. Please read and abide by them. Certain precautions should be taken to avoid spoiling your holidays: lock your windows and doors when leaving your accommodation. Items left in your rented accommodation are your entire responsibility and can not engage the liability of Village Center Gestion. 13.LIABILITY In accordance with current French legislation, tourist holiday homes do not fall within the scope of hotel operator liability provisions. Articles 1952 et seq. of the French Civil Code do not apply. Consequently, Village Center Gestion’s liability cannot be engaged in the event of loss, theft, or degradation of personal effects in our campsites, car parks, or communal buildings (cycle sheds, toilet blocks, etc.). Village Center Gestion is also not liable in the event of residents breaching the maximum occupancy rules for the flat or house. 14.TERMINATION - PENALTIES - NON-RENEWAL The provider is within his full rights to terminate the rental contract immediately, with no prior formalities, if the resident fails in any of his obligations or exhibits behaviour liable to disturb other residents. The offending resident must leave the premises immediately. In the event of refusal to leave, the forces of law and order can be called in to effect an expulsion. Failure to pay for the stay shall cause annulment of any benefit provided for in the rental contract, retrieval of the keys by the holiday home management, and explicit renouncement of the right to remain on the premises. 15.COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS Any complaint or claim relating to a Village Center Gestion trip or stay must be sent by registered (sign-for) letter with acknowledgement of receipt to our customer services within 30 days of the end of the stay. Buyers can exercise this right directly by writing to Village Center, (Village Center – Service Clientèle – CS 80096 – 34202 Sète cedex – France). 17.JURISDICTION Any litigation arising from the purchase or taking of a holiday or relating to the execution or interpretation of the General Sales Conditions shall come under the jurisdiction of the courts in the locality where the holiday holiday home is situated. * At the Monte Bianco holiday home, our partner provider’s specific conditions apply (available on request from the booking centre)
