A Little Tightening Goes a Long Way
Vaginal rejuvenation basically consists of reducing the diameter of the vagina and changing its appearance both inside and out. A tighter vagina will allow a more intense friction during intimate life. “What we do is remove excess tissue from the vagina in the anterior part, remove the excess mucosa from the back and inside and shorten the muscles of the perineum. Another problem that causes a distended vagina - as the muscles separate because of one or more births - is a fallen bladder. Lisette Quiroz has had a life full of surprises. After a childhood in Cuba, her family was deeply disenchanted with the Cuban government and fled to Miami Florida. At that moment in time, she was unaware that the big move from the island would open the door to a fairy tale story, and eventually, a career that would allow her to empower both women and herself.
L
isette met her husband, Dr. Alejandro Quiroz, when she was working as a model. He was working with other doctors in Miami. “It was love at first sight,” Lisette said during an interview with VIDA Wellness and Beauty Magazine. “Six months later we were engaged and after a year we were married.” The happy marriage quickly morphed into a business partnership that focused on beauty and health. Lisette, who has worked as a model in the past, knew what it meant to maintain a successful career centered in beauty and image. But this time, with a renowned plastic surgeon by her side, she refocused her passion for up keeping the physical image into one that incorporates health and well-being.
“We want to give women the chance to reach their full potential — the best version of themselves.” Lisette has always viewed beauty as the link to self-esteem, confidence and success. But she knows well that for women, beauty is not about reaching perfection, but rather about what works best for every woman. “Of course, nothing is easy,” Lisette confessed. “For a woman to be give herself value and feel confident about doing anything, well, it takes discipline. Personally, I have had a lot of challenges, a lot of ups and downs, but I have always counted with support from my husband, family and other people in my life. I hope I can tell my story and that it can serve as an example of what is possible.” One of Lisette’s goals in life is to empower women, to polish the physical attributed that they have and give them the option to get rid of those that don’t. “We are overwhelmed with a feeling of satisfaction every time we see women transform their lives, and even more so when they share their life stories with us,” Lisette said. “Because of these stories, my interest is in inspiring other women because a lot of them need that little push so they can begin to value themselves.” Lisette has always been of the belief that women need to give themselves space and me time. “And why not give ourselves the chance to feel beautiful?” Lisette says. “We want to give women the chance to reach their full potential — the best version of themselves.” Lisette’s journey began to blossom 28 years ago in Los Angeles, where she helped her husband give life to Cosmed Clinic. As the Quiroz family began to grow in size, with two children, Alejandro and Karina, the business grew as well. Patients began to demand more services and personalized care. “Women wanted everything that had to do with health and beauty available under one roof,” Lisette touted about their accomplishments.
