Dakar, Incorporated in 1996 and based in Los Angeles, Dakar Foundation is a 501©3 public foundation that provides mentorship and technical assistance to underserved community college students seeking entry into the growth-creative-tech economy in Los Angeles County.. PROBLEM: No search firm to match and place student to committed career bank. Career Bank doesn’t exist, need design, build to fund scalable pilot. SOLUTION Dakar S.T.E.A.M.S. Is a One-Stop Shop for post-secondary student scholars enrolled in a community college prepared upskilling and enhanced profiles to be matched to the precise needs of partner corporations curated by Dakar for matchmaking through Apprenticeship that leads to long-term placement.
