St. Viator's. life inspires us to the. happy disch.a:rge of our obligations' and d.ire:c ts us well in laying well the moral basis of life and sha:ping our cha.ra,ctersi. It gives us .aJ pra1ctical lesson in the fundamental sciences of self-knowledge a,n d self-discipline. The thou~ht is simple and the meter well adapted' to express the sentinueiit embodied in the poem. The article, "Comte de Maistre.," evidences exhaustive re.search work, while the bit of fiction, "Tap Makes Good," js light a,n d interesting. "The Oo.nservators of Liberty" is a timely exposition of that ba,n d of bigoted fanatics who .seek to hide the true motive for their organization under the misleading a~ppelation "T'he Guardians of Lib€rty." Their real purpose is to destroy the Clatt holic Church.
