St. John Vianney High School’s Griffin Fund is our most critical ongoing fundraising effort, generating unrestricted support to strengthen the extraordinary programs which define a Vianney education. Each year the school relies on contributions to provide support above and beyond tuition dollars. These gifts have an immediate and direct impact on each student and faculty member, enhancing the quality of all school programs.

A little goes a long way at Vianney. When you make a gift to the Griffin Fund you join over 1,100 families from our community, including alumni, parents, grandparents, board members, faculty and staff and friends who support St. John Vianney High School each year. The Griffin Fund is Vianney’s most important fundraiser. Last year 100% of our faculty and staff, Board of Directors and Alumni Board invested in the Griffin Fund.

Tuition and the actual, full cost to educate your son are purposely different. We intentionally set tuition below the full cost to keep a Vianney education more affordable for a wider range of families. This practice is commonly referred to as the “Gap.”
WHY IS GRIFFIN FUND PARTICIPATION SO IMPORTANT? The Griffin Fund allows parents to pay for a portion of education expenses and the entire Vianney community to support the school through tax deductible donations.
High levels of participation demonstrate our community’s strength and shared commitment to our students. Every gift makes a difference. We are grateful for the generous support of our entire Vianney family and strive for 100% participation from our current families, faculty and staff and Board of Directors each year.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I CONTRIBUTE? We understand that each of our families is unique. In keeping with personal circumstances and reflective of the value of a Vianney education, we encourage you to make a meaningful gift. Every gift helps close the $1,538 gap per student. Griffin Fund gifts range from under $100 to $50,000, and each one is valued deeply.

INVESTING IN VIANNEY Over the past several years, Vianney has invested more than $7 million to make improvements to the school’s academic facilities.

Together Griffin Fund gifts go to work immediately enhancing student life throughout all areas of the school.
