Fuelled by our passion for building yachts, our family business has expanded exponentially since its incorporation in 1964, delivering more than 1100 yachts to gratified customers. Our aim is for you to enjoy as much of your spare time out on the water as possible. More than anyone else, we understand how owning a boat adds value and enjoyment to your life. Here at Boarnstream, we know that nothing can replace the sense of freedom that comes with spending quality time on a motor yacht.
Our dedicated team of experts truly values customer satisfaction. Decades of expert yacht-building have yielded numerous happy yacht owners from all walks of life. The way in which we combine knowledge and experience is reflected in each and every yacht we build. Our company pursues continual development, and our capacity to plan ahead and help you make the right choices in this amazing, highly specialised discipline is second to none. Facts & figures The first Boarncruisers were personally built by founder H. Hokwerda and his wife did the upholstery work.
All Boarncruisers are fully Dutch. The Netherlands has 400 km length of sea coastline and has more than 4,400 km of navigable rivers, canals and lakes. Boarncruiser has 3 series: the Elegance, Classic Line and Retro Line. 92 percent of the time it does not rain in the Netherlands.
Since 1964 Boarnstream build and delivered over 1100 boats. 87 percent of the Boarncruiser yachts are exported. Boarnstream has 91 percent brand awareness among the North European steel motor boat owners.
Boarnstream has a total of 40 models in the current program. With an orange boat you have 13 percent less chance of a collision than with a white boat. The 15 Boarnstream employees together have 311 years of experience in the yacht building industry.
Boarnstream also builds yachts for other yards. There are more than 1200 bridges in Amsterdam. In 2019 it will be possible to rent an Elegance for the first time. Boarnstream has many regular customers. The most loyal customers have bought up to 7 new Boarncruisers.

That is why we now offer the Elegance VIP try-out. You can take out the Elegance 1200 Sedan for a weekend, midweek or week, so you will have a complete impression of this beautiful steel open cockpit motor yacht.

Müritz edition Boarnstream has extended her Elegance series again! This time with the Boarncruiser Müritz (Express) edition. The Müritz edition is available as Elegance 1360. The beam of the Müritz edition has been adjusted to 440 cm. The reason for this narrower version is the demand from our customers for the sailing area around Berlin. In connection with the passage through locks, bridges and the limited width of the berths, a width of more than 450 cm may cause problems. With the Müritz edition, the familiar basic elements such as lines, comfort and stability are preserved. The Boarnstream DNA is untouched.

Looking for a new horizon? The extra deck on top of your saloon gives you a perfect 360 view to enjoy. From the helm on the Flybridge it is easy to manoeuvre the boat, because one benefits from the nice overview.

Express edition
Experience what comfort feels like at 16 knots or more! For sure your yacht is for pure relaxation, so why the hurry? Well, the semi-displacement hull shape of the Express version adds comfort when sailing at open waters, especially when waters get rough. The higher speed results in stability and anti-roll. Speed is a safety feature too. It is easier to escape from bad weather or to overtake large barges in rivers. Also, the two engines provide optimal comfort for boat manoeuvres. To save weight the Express versions of the 1200 & 1360 Elegance have an aluminium superstructure. This results in less weight and a lower center of gravity. The Elegance 1670 & 1800 Express have a complete aluminium construction.

Long Top edition
The complete range of Boarncruiser Elegance can be delivered as Long Top version. The Long Top version has an extended steel roof all over the cockpit which means: at all times shelter from rain, wind and sun. In combination with the option "CanopeasyÂŽ" it is possible to simply seal the cockpit. On top, the Long Top emphasizes the elegant looks of the Elegance yachts. Option available in: All types

Double engines A single engine will do the job in most situations, however a twin installation has its own advantages. Two engines allow differential steering with unequal thrust, which is greatly enhancing low speed maneuverability. The so called prop walk is not present with a twin installation. Two engines working together results in a power synergy, so throttle response is much better and one can cruise at lower rpms for a more comfortable experience. Option available in: All types 80

Their high quality product line suit our demands. Not only are the Ray Marine systems reliable, easy to read and easy to use. Many features can be integrated into one system. The multifunction touch screen display (MFD) is the centre for operating these features; detailed digital charts, camera to look backwards, heat detection camera in the engine room, digital engine gauges, are examples of the endless possibilities. The advantage of all this integrated high tech is a clear and logic helm. The latest plotters will not be outdated very quickly. Like your mobile phones they can be updated with the latest software and charts.

Trawler window The subject of windows is often a neglected child in yacht building. In addition to the fact that windows have a large safety aspect, they can provide comfort for the right climate choices. The windows are also very influential on the lines of the yacht!
The Elegance comes standard with curved (in length and in width), strong front brakes. These windows not only provide a beautiful line but also an almost 360 ° panoramic view. From the Elegance 1250 it is delivered in insulated glass units. In all models the panorama windows in

Your energy system on board A well performing energy system is an absolute must on board. The
inverter supplies all 230V consumers on board. Including a 4 hob
Boarncruiser Elegance is standard equipped with professional double-
induction cooker, oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine,
pole electric installation routed through synthetic trunking, coded
just name it.
