A f t e r t h e a n n o u n c e m e n t s of t h e " Y " meetings. Dr. Wichers introduced Dr. D r u k k e r . " U n c l e Ray," a c l o s e f r i e n d of m a n y of t h e s t u dents, g a v e an inspirational talk a b o u t t h e work a n d t h e need in K e n t u c k y . 'I h e n t h e m e e t i n g w a s turned over to c o - c h a i r m e n , Adelaide W a n d s c h e e r a n d R o g K o e p p e . Miss W a n d s c h e e r b r i e f l y s t a t e d t h e p u r p o s e of t h i s y e a r ' s d r i v e a n d a s k e d t h e s t u d e n t s to m a k e t h e i r p l e d g e s p a y a b l e by t h e e n d of t h e first s e m e s t e r . S h e said t h a t t h e m o n e y w a s to be u s e d to b u y m u c h n e e d e d b o o k s f o r t h e l i b r a r y of t h e R e f o r m e d c h u r c h school in A n ville, K e n t u c k y . As R u s s De V e t t e c a l l e d t h e s i g n a l s a n d Iven Sibley r a n t h e a d d i n g m a c h i n e t h e figures soared up and up. With $621.00 r i n g i n g in e v e r y o n e ' s e a r s , chapel was dismissed.
