ATHLETICS

The Valley Christian Athletic Program exists for three primary purposes. One of those is to teach life lessons that come through true competition - effort, teamwork, sportsmanship, preparation, dignity, worth, and handling adversity. We also exist to be a strong outreach branch of the VCS ministry in that we strive to share the gospel message through words and actions with everyone and in every situation. While doing so, we provide a Christian environment for entertainment and competition. And, finally, we exist to provide Christian role models of the highest skill levels in our coaching staff with the intent on forming Christlike character in our athletes.

HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

“Pursuing Victory with Honor”

The Athletic Department’s goal is to teach life lessons through disciplined training and the preparation for competition: how to gracefully handle and overcome adversity, work as a team, and display Christ-like sportsmanship both on and off the field. Each of our athletic programs believe that preparation is never wasted, it’s an investment in the future. Valley Christian High School (VCHS) continues to grow beyond our extensive offerings of championship-caliber Warrior teams to come alongside our student-athletes in all aspects of their training and competing. VCHS student athletes regularly compete with distinction at the local, state, and national level, a rare occurrence at a high school of this size. We are proud members of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Pursuing Victory with Honor.
