FAIRY TALES

Once upon a time,

Fairy Tales! Fairy Tales!

In a land far away,

Read them every day!

A girl kissed a frog -

Oh what fun it is to hear

That just made his day!

How Goldilocks got away!

Far across the town,

Fairy Tales! Fairy Tales!

Red Riding Hood took fright -

Full of joy and laughter!

She found a wolf In granny's bed

Do you know how this one ends?

When she told her goodnight!

Why, its HAPPILY EVER AFTER! 2

Our kindergarten is a child educational facility for children from 3 to 7 year-old. According to the educational law of Bulgaria, kindergartens are the first step in the ladder of education. The Kindergarten “Sinchec” has a nearly 40-year-old history. It was found with the sole purpose to become a more unusual place, where children would feel safe and loved, and would come every day with pleasure, learning something new. Years are passing by one by one, teachers and staff are changing, but everybody worked and is still working with great enthusiasm and love. At the moment there are 135 kids and 28 people who take care of them every day, 12 of them are pedagogical specialists with high qualifications.

Our school is situated in a small but picturesque town, Tg-Jiu on the river Jiu. Local people, apart from having farms, work mainly in local service shops and small manufacturing plants. Our school is organized in special activities to encourage self-confidence, to diminish the lack of affectivity, to encourage communication between children from different social levels and learning abilities, to change mentality and attitude towards the pupil and activities as occupational therapy. Furthermore, our school is part of network of general compulsory education units which ensure the acquisition of the necessary knowledge, in order to pass on to the next level of education. We participated in etwinning projects where we have presented our school. At the same time, our school tries to take part in the life of the local community by promoting values, by continuously improving the quality of teaching and by aiming at creating a good relationship between pupilteacher-parents-local community, according to European standards and values.

The etwinning project “.. and they lived happily ever after” addressed two groups of the 1st grade and 44 pupils took part during their 2-hour English course every week. Though the kids were pretty young, they managed to work in groups and recreate their traditional fairy tales. ιστορίες του Αισώπου Αίσωπος

Once upon a time there lived an old man and his wife. One day the old woman was kneading the bread. It turned out just right, crunchy side, delicious aroma. Old woman put the Wheat bread on the window sill to cool. but the Wheat bread looked around, jumped off and ran away to see the world..

The Wheat Bread rolled along the road and suddenly it met the Rabbit. -I will eat you- said the Rabbit. -Don't eat me, I will sing you a song- said the Wheat bread and began to sing: -I'm a happy Wheat bread, with a crunchy brown side. In the oven I was baked, on the window sill cooled. From old man I ran away, from old woman too. I will run away from you. - And the Wheat bread ran along. 111

Finally she met the Fox . -I will eat you, sweety Wheat Bread. - called the Fox

-Don't eat me, Fox, I will sing you a song- said the Wheat Bread and started singing: -I'm a happy Wheat Bread with a crunchy brown side. In the oven I was baked, on the window sill cooled. From old man I ran away, from old woman too. I ran away from Rabbit, Wolf and will run away from you .

--What a wonderful song!- said the Fox.- Too bad I am hard of hearing. Come closer and sing for me again, so I can hear well. The Wheat Bread climbed closer, and as she began to sing - I'm a happy Wheat Bread…- the Fox ate the soppy Wheat Bread. Then the Fox said to herself: -“This Wheat bread is so pig-headed. She is neither so pretty nor so clever. She can’t sing well but she is so delicious. Yummy!!
