WEST ALABAMA COACH / ATHLETE INTERVIEWS Please make arrangements for all interviews with West Alabama student-athletes and coaches through Sports Information Director Kyle Lewis by calling (205) 652-3596. UWA student-athletes are also routinely available for interviews following practice sessions and competitions, following the NCAA 10-minute cooling off period. No athlete telephone numbers will be given out. Please respect this policy and coordinate ALL athlete/coach interviews through the UWA Sports Information Office. MEDIA SERVICES The UWA Sports Information Office compiles and distributes statistics amd notes prior to each game and complete game results at the conclusion of competition. Following each game, box scores will be distributed to the sports information office of the visiting school and, upon request, to media outlets. The Sports Information Office produces a weekly release featuring game notes, updated statistics and other pertinent information on the Tiger football program. To access this release, please log on to www.uwaathletics.com and click on football. Each week’s release will be located on the right side of the web page. The PDF formatted document is posted every Tuesday by noon. Press Credentials Requests for credentials for working press, photographers, television and radio should be made to Kyle, Sports Information Director. KEEP UP WITH UWA ATHLETICS The University of West Alabama can be accessed several different ways on the world wide web. All UWA home football games will be streamed over the internet on the B2 Network. Fans wanting to watch Tiger athletics via B2 Networks will need a high-speed Internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player. Games will be sold on an individual basis for $7 (US) and season packages for football and basketball will also be available. B2 Networks is a premier provider of reliable and secure international television and pay-per-view broadcasting systems. Broadcasts will be aired through the school’s website at www.uwaathletics. com as well as www.b2tv.com. All UWA football games be be carried on ESPN 104.9 FM, the official radio station for UWA athletics. A 50,000 watt station, ESPN 104.9 FM reaches UWA and surrounding areas, including western Alabama and eastern Mississippi. UWA athletic broadcasts will also be carried on the athletic website. Craig Roden begins his second stint at the University of West Alabama. Roden (53) is no stranger to Livingston as he served as an assistant coach at UWA from 1978-1980 and was head coach from 1984-1987. While at the helm, he guided the Tigers to a 51-34 record. Prior to Roden’s career at UWG, he made four stops ranging from junior college to Division I. He served as head coach at Crowder Community College in Neosho, Mo, Snead State Community College in Boaz, Ala. (1980-84), the University of Texas at El Paso (1987-90), and Connors State College in Warner, Okla. (1990-92). Roden received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, with a minor in History, from UWA in 1978. He continued work on his Master’s degree (Health, Physical Education, and Recreation) while working as an assistant coach with the Tigers from 1978-80. Roden is married to the former Debra Griffin. The Rodens have three children, Tyler, Andrew and daughter Maggi.

Prior to Carson-Newman, Mason began her college career at Gadsden State Community College in Gadsden, Ala., playing for Kim and Charles Nails. At GSCC she helped lead the Lady Cardinals to the Alabama Community College Conference championship in 2005 and a ACCC runner-up finish in 2006. Mason garnered 2006 ACCC Player of the Year laurels and was a National Junior College Athletic Association All-American. She was named ACCC Tour-
