BE DOWNTOWN Have classes downtown? We do too! Our Downtown Fitness Center offers a variety of programs and services for the students, faculty and staff of UTSA at the Downtown Campus. We’re located on the third floor of the Durango Building and offer a fitness center with strength and cardio equipment and a group exercise classroom. There is a full locker room facility located in the basement of the Durango Building and the outdoor Rowdy Sport Court is conveniently located in the Bill Miller Plaza. Group Exercise classes are free to all Campus Rec members. Schedules can be found online and posted in the Durango Building.

BE AGILE At 54 feet tall, our Rockwall is the tallest on a university campus in Texas, and features rotating climbing routes for every skill level. We provide all necessary training and equipment, shoes included - for FREE. Our staff of experienced climbers regularly design new routes to challenge your skills and keep the experience fresh and fun.

Rented per semester only. Main Campus - $40/full locker or $24/half locker Downtown - $24 Rent at the Membership Services Desk (Main Campus) or the Fitness Center (Downtown) beginning the first day of classes. It’s a first-come, first-serve opportunity. You may share your locker, but only the individual who rented the locker will have access to locker numbers, combinations or contents after clean-out. Lockers not renewed or cleaned out by the expiration date will have the contents removed and stored. Items will be donated to charity after 15 days.

BE COMPETITIVE Intramural Sports features on-campus team and individual competitions for men’s, women’s and co-rec divisions. You can create your own team or become a free agent and let teams find you.

BE REGISTERED To take part in Intramural Sports, you must utilize IMLeagues at IMLeagues.com/utsa. Create your team early on the IMLeagues waitlist, and complete your team roster prior to registration opening. Club Sports provides an opportunity for students to compete against other universities in an organized and competitive environment. UTSA Club Sport teams represent the university at the local, regional and national levels. Each club is also a registered student organization. Be part of a competitive atmosphere that promotes leadership, encourages sportsmanship, teaches fiscal management, promotes athletic conditioning and bridges the gap between Intramural Sports and NCAA Athletics. FITNESS ASSESSMENTS

With more than 60 classes per week, our Group Exercise (GX) program is definitely something to check out. Classes are open to all members at no extra fee.

We offer two (2) free assessments per semester for members. Assessments measure body composition, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. Fitness Assessments are by appointment only. You may register by downloading the appropriate forms on our website or in person at the Membership Services Desk.

Be sure to participate in the semester-long GX GURU program. Participants with the highest attendance will receive a prize. Ask your instructor for more details!

Whether you’re new to fitness, training for a 5K or just need to step up your current workout regime, our Personal Trainers can help. Share-A-Trainer and Small Group Training options are listed as total cost for the package (not per person). Personal Training registration forms can be found online or at the Membership Services Desk. You must pay upon submission of registration forms. For more information, contact personaltraining@utsa.edu.

BODY COMPOSITION During the semester, Personal Trainers offer drop-in times to check your body composition with calipers. Days and times are posted online and throughout the facility. It is best to be assessed before you workout, and recommended you wear shorts.
