UTC offers a wide variety of scholarships to assist students in meeting their financial needs. Firsttime-freshmen must complete their admission file by Dec. 1, 2023. A completed admission file consists of an application, $30 application fee, official high school transcript and ACT or SAT score. Information on file by Dec. 1 will be used to determine eligibility for scholarships. Students will then be responsible for completing the online scholarship application available through the MyMocsNet portal by Jan. 10, 2024.

Academic scholarships are competitive and are offered to students with the highest combination of GPA and ACT/SAT scores. UTC calculates ACT/SAT superscores that are used in scholarship awarding for individual tests that are received by December 1 deadline. High schools using a weighted grading scale must have the weighted GPA printed on the transcript for the GPA to be honored by the Admissions Office. These awards may only be used beginning the fall semester after the student graduates from high school. The award is renewable for a maximum of four years as long as the student maintains scholarship renewal criteria. To receive the full amount of the HOPE Lottery scholarship, students must complete the FAFSA each year.
