• Member of the 12-man USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team, which won the gold medal at the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic, June 27-July 7. • Started all nine of Team USA’s games at the championship, averaging 7.2 points and 4.6 rebounds in 12.7 minutes per game. • Became just the third Vol to win multiple gold medals in sanctioned international competition, joining former All-American Ernie Grunfeld and UT’s all-time leading scorer, Allan Houston, on that list.

2012-13 - SOPHOMORE

• Started all 33 of Tennessee’s games. • Finished the season as Tennessee’s team leader in total rebounding (9.6 rpg), offensive rebounding (4.2 orpg), free-throw attempts (194) and blocks (1.1 bpg). • Led the team in scoring nine times, and was UT’s top rebounder 22 times. • Grabbed at least 10 rebounds in 18 games and scored in double-figures 22 times. • His 138 offensive rebounds and 4.2 offensive rebounding average both stand as the best by a Vol in a single season since offensive rebounding statistics have been tracked. • His 4.2 offensive rebounds per game ranked third among all players in Division I college basketball. • Was one of only four players from “major” conferences – and the only player from the SEC – to average a double-double in league play (13.1 ppg, 10.7 rpg). • His 16 double-doubles were the most among SEC players and marked the most by a Vol in a season since Bernard King had 19 in 1976-77. • His 318 total rebounds on the year stand as the eighth-best single-season total in program history. • Had a team-best 19 “and-1” plays and ranked second on the team with 94 pass deflections (2.8 dpg). • In SEC play, he led the league in rebounding (10.7 rpg) and offensive rebounds (4.4 orpg). • Grabbed an incredible 12 offensive rebounds against Mercer in the NIT (3/20/13) and finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. • His 15th double-double of the season came against Alabama in the SEC Tournament (3/15/13), as he posted 12 points and 13 rebounds. • Six of his game-high 13 rebounds in UT’s win over Missouri (3/9/13) came on the offensive glass; He also scored 13 points vs. the Tigers to log his 14th double-double of the season. • His 13th double-double of the season was an 11-point, 12-rebound effort at Auburn (3/6/13); seven of his 12 rebounds came on the offensive glass. • Grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds and also tallied eight points and two assists as Tennessee defeated No. 8 Florida in Knoxville (2/26/13). • Played 53 minutes in Tennessee’s four-overtime win at Texas A&M (2/23/13), totaling 20 points and 16 rebounds (eight offensive boards). • Posted a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double in the victory over LSU (2/19/13). • His streak of six straight double-doubles in the midst of SEC play was the longest by an SEC player since Kentucky’s DeMarcus Cousins posted seven in a row in 2010. • Had nine points, nine rebounds and two blocks in UT’s 30-point win over Kentucky (2/16/13).
