Nilgiri, Tamil Nadu

This region is predominantly known for its tea and coffee plantations, but the slopes and pleasant weather make it an ideal trekking spot too. The best time to visit is between April and June, and then between September and December, when the weather is pleasant, and the sun isn’t too harsh.

Coorg, Karnataka

Plan a trip to Coorg at the beginning of the year between January and March, when it is pleasant and there is no rain, and you are guaranteed a memorable trek. You’ll be spoilt for choice as Coorg has various places where you can go trekking, including the Brahmagiri and Pushpagiri areas, as well as Iruppu Falls.

Peermede, Kerala

This place is a must-visit for every adventurer. Apart from trekking, it also offers activities such as paragliding and cycling. To trek, head to Vagamon, Kuttikkanam, Kalthotti or Peeru Hills and choose a course as per your skill. The trek demands you to be fit enough as you need to cover the distance of 12-14 kms within 7-8 hours. You can also view Hindlumane Falls, Ganesha Guha, and Belakallu Theertha while trekking.
