Testimonials “US 2020 has been amazing in connecting the staff and students at Wake STEM Early College High School at NCSU with local STEM businesses and industries. Through their efforts, our students engaged a myriad of opportunities locally. The Advanced Manufacturing Day activities at GE Aviation, RTP STEM Week, where our students visited Biogen and Monsanto along with providing opportunities for students to network to find potential job shadowing and internship opportunities are just a few of the highlights. Thank you for "hitting the floor" running during your first year to support STEM education and our students.” -Linda Brannan, Wake STEM Early College High School at NC State University “Great partnership with US2020, particularly in connecting with area nonprofits and corporations. We received a team of RTI International mentors through the US2020 matchmaking platform as well.” -Jin Ellington, Citizen Schools - North Carolina “US2020 has enabled us to provide our STEM Play Corps participants with mentoring from STEM professionals. In addition, US2020 has helped us network with other STEM-related organizations and businesses in the Triangle.”

-Hardin Engelhardt, Marbles Kids Museum “US2020 has engaged with several schools within our district, has been a member of our cross-institutional Business Engagement Team, and helped secure internships for the Durham Youth Internship Program.” -Ondrea Austin, Durham Public Schools

“It was an encouragement to have US2020 contacts as we explored new STEM programs. Faculty appreciated the opportunity to list needs and dreams for their students. We anticipate this second year will result in good connections. We are especially excited about STEM Speaker Series, tutors, club events, and having mentors for our STEM Stars program. The listing will be updated in October 2015 to list specific topics for mentors needed to work with the WTCC STEM Stars program (the program will run November 30, 2015-March 7, 2016).” -Sharon Welker, Wake Technical Community College
