When? Saturday, August 10th, 2013
Why? The Register of Wills for Montgomery County, D. Bruce Hanes, decided last week that he would defy the Pennsylvania state ban on samesex marriage and start issuing licenses. We were the 25th gay couple from Montgomery County to come in to get the license. We are getting married quickly, before someone decides to overturn this decision. [If you are watching the news, there is already a lawsuit to stop Mr. Hanes from continuing to issue licenses to same-sex couples]. Dress: Fabulous!
Oh, and bring singles to tip the drag queens.
