The American Institute of Chemical
Engineers

national organization that brings information from the feild of engineering to its members. The student
chapter
at
the
University
of Rhode Island
organized
events that
unite the
help
faculty and students, creating a better study environment.
This year
the AIChE started
a
peer
group, held fundraisers and
teaching
participated to
in
an
attempt
link the various of
Colleges Engineering through physical competition (Intermural Softball). We also held
plant tours, such Samuel Adams and
various as
Bradford
Soapworks, help to
these tours
introduce how the feild of
Chemical Engineering effects our everyday lives and what furture engineers, may find themselves doing.
