form the students interested in legal study about the legal profession. Guest lecturers and meetings together to discuss significant legal issues are provided by the society for the law minded student.

"The Great Swamp Gazzette" was founded in 1977 to provide "some clear thinking out of the muck and mire". It is URI's alternative publication: fiction, poetry, commentary, artwork, photog raphy, or whatever else you want to submit. "The Gazzette is published monthly and is an excellent outlet for writers, reporters, photographers, cartoonists, editorials and layout people. It is also a great opportunity for people who are interested in investigative reporting. "
