The URI
Relay for Life is on annual organized by students and sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Along with
fundraising
event
raising money to support ongoing cancer research, the event gives students, faculty and staff
a chance to bond while doing something worth while. The goal of the event is to have 18 hours of continuous walking around the
track, with
least

one
each team participating at all times. Since the event takes place over a number of hours,

involved
