Learn the essential foundational business skills, like economics, marketing, and accounting and collaborate on projects with peers from other disciplines. Connect with your major’s student club – there’s one for every major and special interest!

Applied learning opportunities happen throughout your program but are significantly enhanced during your third and fourth year. For example, in the Business Consulting course you will transform into a consultant, helping a local organization with a business or marketing challenge.

Accounting

Achieve a highly respected professional designation and a successful career in business and accounting. The courses in Lang’s accounting program are all acknowledged requirements ahead of becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) of Ontario. Complement your accounting focus with a minor in leadership, data analytics, business sustainability, marketing, international business, or human resources management. Upon graduation, you can pursue a 4-month graduate diploma in accounting that will advance your standing in achieving your CPA designation.

Applied Financial Accounting: Build strong foundational accounting knowledge and skills required to pursue your CPA. Working with your teammates, this case-based course applies accounting principles in a variety of different settings.
