Coming from Maplewood, Minnesota, Sara Duke is a senior double majoring in English and history with minors in French and digital humanities –wow! It was while watching the Husker spring football game on television where her interest was sparked to visit NEBRASKA. After coming to see the campus in person, she knew that she had found her new home here in Lincoln. Sara is an enthusiastic member of the Cornhusker Marching Band – the Pride of All Nebraska, so she is now the one that people see on television during Husker games. She raises money for cancer research each Spring as a Relay for Life participant. She is working on her degree with the end goal of becoming a librarian in the Archives at the Library of congress in Washington, D.C.
