TULANE ONLINE University Services created the Tulane Online Marketplace (TOM) to be your guide to campus life outside the classroom. On TOM you can set up a meal plan, check dining menus and hours, reserve textbooks, find shuttle bus routes and times, schedule a ride on Airport Shuttle, upload documents to print at FedEx, open a checking account, and so much more! Parents and families can also use TOM to purchase gift cards, add dollars to the Splash Card, get hotel and rental car information for their next visit to New Orleans or help their student navigate and explore the area with vendors such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car/WeCar. tom.tulane.edu

TULANE BOOKSTORES Our on-campus bookstores have all the required textbooks and supplies for your academic courses, along with a large selection of reference and general interest books. You can also outfit yourself and family with Tulane gear, as well as find items for your residence hall, apartment or office. The bookstores also carry health and beauty aids, greeting cards, gifts and convenience items. TECHNOLOGY NEEDS The Technology Connection is an Apple Campus Store and university-owned and operated technology store with knowledgeable, certified staff that can assist with your required or recommended technology purchases. Their convenient location allows you to come in, ask questions, touch, test and purchase products from Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Sony, as well as accessories from Lacie, Moshi, Logitech, incase and more! The Technology Connection works in conjunction with Tulane Campus Technology Services Center should you need to purchase new hardware after your laptop has been evaluated for problems. DRY CLEANERS & LAUNDRY SERVICES

Cleanerama offers time saving semester and academic year laundry service packages. Other services provided are professional dry cleaning, starched laundry, leather cleaning and alterations. Large items such as comforters, quilts, pillows and sleeping bags can also be cleaned at Cleanerama. Ask about cleaning specials, gift certificates and summer linen/ laundry storage. PRINT & SHIP Mail Services offers mailbox and package receiving services to all campus residents. It also provides a stamp vending machine and USPS drop box, which are available 24 hours a day. Tulane students, faculty and staff can use their Tulane Splash Card to pay for services. Sign up for a FedEx account and get information and discounted shipping rates on all FXO services. WEAR ART THOU? IN Exchange is an innovative not-for-profit business founded by a Tulane alumnus and offering student internships. ON THE ROAD ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR

Tulane University and Enterprise Rent-A-Car have an agreement, which offers discounted rates to faculty, staff, students, parents and university visitors. In addition to offering business and leisure rental discounts, students 18-20 years old can rent vehicles with a valid Tulane ID, proof of full-coverage car insurance and a major credit or debit card. Daily and weekly rentals are available from both the Carrollton and Canal Street branches only. They also offer free pick up and drop off. It offers an alternative method of transportation that lowers the cost and reduces the hassles of traditional transportation. The WeCar vehicles are parked in Loyola’s Freret Street garage and the 1430 Tulane Avenue parking garage. To sign up for a WeCar membership go to tom.tulane.edu.

UNIVERSITY SHUTTLES

The university provides year-round shuttle services for its faculty, staff and students to move between the uptown and health sciences center campuses, and University Square and the uptown campus, as well as shopping and entertainment shuttles. All of the buses are equipped with real-time GPS technology so that riders can view where the bus is on its route, a text messaging system that allows passengers to text questions or comments about a route or service, and the newer buses have bike racks for those passengers wishing to bring their bikes with them when traveling between campuses. AIRPORT SHUTTLES

The Airport Shuttle is a convenient and economical way to get to and from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. $1.50 from each pick up and each drop off goes to support on-campus residential programming. This offer only good when you make reservations on tom.tulane.edu.

STAY A WHILE Many local hotels and bed & breakfasts are preferred partners of Tulane and offer year-round discounts to our visitors. A full list of hotel partners is available in the Hotel & Travel link at tom.tulane.edu.

DINING AT TULANE Campus dining is an essential component to the out-of-classroom experience and helps to build a sense of community. Tulane University Dining Services creates a complete dining experience, with flexible meal plans and fresh, well-prepared food in a comfortable dining atmosphere. Our certified executive chef and his culinary staff cater to the tastes of Tulane’s diverse student body while designing menus that incorporate the rich culinary traditions of New Orleans and Louisiana. To meet the ever-changing dining needs and interests of the Tulane community, Dining Services employs customer satisfaction surveys, town hall meetings, comment boards and a Dining Services Advisory Group for feedback and suggestions. PJ’s Coffee and Tea Co. is a locally owned and operated enterprise that serves gourmet freshbrewed coffee, tea and fresh-baked pastries and cakes. COCA-COLA COMPANY & LONG-LEAF CANTEEN VENDING

Stop those anytime cravings by visiting the beverage and snack vending machines that are found in the majority of buildings on campus. Most vending machines are equipped with debit card readers. Refunds for machine malfunctions are handled through the Office of Dining and Auxiliary Services, located at 105 Central Building. TULANE CARD SERVICES The Tulane Splash Card is more than your university ID. It’s also your Splash debit account, accounts receivable and meal plan card. The Splash Card provides access to residence halls, academic buildings, and athletic events. Maintain a balance in your Splash Card debit account and have purchasing power across campus and at designated off-campus merchants without the need to carry cash or credit cards.
