Rice Byars, Jr., was listed in the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Jim Strickland received the Public Servant Award in honor of Bobby Dunavant on February 27, 2013. This award was established to recognize distinguished work by public servants of the citizens of Memphis and Shelby County. In November 2013, Michael E. Cross retired with 21 years of service, as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG), Tennessee Army National Guard.
