New! Beyond Basics: Learning Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Through Case Dialogues and Peer Consultation Oct 21, 2013 - Feb 3, 2014

This course is a follow up to the basic SFBT course. Past participants in the basic course have asked for continued help with their practice of SFBT; the current course is designed to meet that request. The course is not supervision; that is, the course instructor takes no responsibility for client outcomes. Rather, the course’s purpose is to assist participants in an online group format to practice and discuss the application of SFBT to their own and each other’s cases and practice. Participants will serve as a peer consultation group to each other as they sharpen their skills in SFBT practices to initiate and sustain solutionbuilding conversations in their practices with cases, colleagues, and beyond. Instructor: Thorana S. Nelson, Ph.D. Fee: $1295 CEUs/CEHs: 5.0 (50 hours)
