A limited number of scholarships are available by completing the scholarship application, available on the back of the registration form or online at uarts.edu/saturdayschool/scholarships. Scholarships are generously funded by the Louis N. Cassett Foundation, the Richard and Jean Coyne Family Foundation, the Brook J. Lenfest Foundation, the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation, the Mill Spring Foundation and the University of the Arts.
Merit Scholarships Theater Improvisation | SS 150 Wearable Art | SS 141
A limited number of $100 merit scholarships are based on teacher recommendation. To apply, complete the scholarship form and return it with the completed registration form and payment of $200 plus $65 fees. If not awarded a scholarship, the student will have the option to withdraw or to be billed the remaining $100.
Half-Tuition Scholarships A limited number of $150 half-tuition scholarships are based on both teacher recommendation and financial need. Applicants must submit (1) a high school transcript, (2) a one-page essay stating what inspires you to make art, (3) cover sheet of the family’s most recent tax forms. To apply, complete the scholarship form and return it with the completed registration form and payment of $150 plus $65 fees. If not awarded a scholarship, the student will have the option to withdraw or to be billed the remaining $150.
Scholarship Deadlines Fall 2013: Friday, September 27 Spring 2014: Friday, January 31
Scholarship Guidelines Students must apply for scholarships at the time of registration; retroactive refunds will not be processed. Scholarship applicants cannot register online.
