Our academic and career advising programs regularly invite top corporate executives, award-winning authors, entrepreneurs, economists, and industry leaders to speak and meet students. You can join a faculty-led networking trip to Portland, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York City to show your portfolio and tour businesses. Looking further afield? Gain an international perspective with one of our hundreds of study abroad and global internship programs.

SHOW YOUR STUFF At UO-hosted hackathons, business plan competitions, and innovation summits, you can pitch your venture to faculty, business leaders, practicing entrepreneurs, and alumni. You’ll receive honest feedback and critiques of your ideas. Some of these competitions award seed funding to grow your project or move you on to regional competitions.

Apply for admission Apply now to become a part of the next class of active, brilliant, determined Ducks. The Early Action deadline is November 1, and the regular deadline is January 15.

Apply for financial aid and scholarships Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority deadline (March 1) and apply for UO scholarships (deadlines vary, but most are due January 15). In addition to general university scholarships, undergraduate scholarships are available to students in specific majors. Each year the Lundquist College of Business and the School of Journalism and Communication award more than $1.6 million combined. Economics scholarships are available, in addition to scholarships from the College of Arts and Sciences.
