The present brochure contains the specializations offered by the Babes-Bolyai University at undergraduate level for Admission in 2014. Further information about the admission can be found at http://admitere.ubbcluj.ro. Please access from this website both the general information on the admission procedure, and the information on the required specializations on the faculties websites. The information can be accessed from the main page menu, at "structure" and then "faculties". For any further details, respectively complete information on the specializations, please refer to the admission committees of the faculties that provide these specializations. The number of places – financed and tuition places – are communicated by the Ministry and by the University subsequent to the publication of this informative brochure. Any further alterations of the present material, provided further regulations are issued by the Ministry of National Education, respectively following the authorization of new specializations, will be promptly communicated via all available means. Test-type written exam, and the admission score will be calculated using the following algorithm:
Admission score = 0.3 x written test grade + 0.7 x baccalaureate exam
Written test will cover the subject matter established for the baccalaureate exam for PHYSICS according to MNE regulations. Faculty accepts school Olympiads and a range of competitions for students as a form of partial or total admission, which are available on the faculty website.

Admission score is calculated as an arithmetic mean between the grade obtained in the admission test and the average obtained at the baccalaureate exam according to the formula: Admission score = 0.2 x (admission test grade) + 0.8 x (baccalaureate exam average)
As an alternative to multiple choice test the result of the "Candin Liteanu" competition can be taken into account.
