Master’s specialisation in

Global Ethnography

The Global Ethnography specialisation provides you with methodological and analytical skills to conduct ethnographic research into questions of development, inequality, injustice and globalization. You learn to theorise, position, connect and explore these questions in relation to the latest anthropological theory. You will create a research project that is tailored to your own interests. You acquire thematic and regional knowledge relevant to the three-month research project that you will conduct. In connecting global discourses to localised practices, both in faraway places as well as closer to home, you obtain crucial skills to critically produce and assess social scientific knowledge.
