Slacklining is a new concept that has become popular throughout colleges across the US. Sponsor: Office of Student Engagement and UPC What is it? UNA is hosting the first Toga Run 5K on Saturday, August 24th. The 3.1 miles will kick off at Norton Auditorium. The fee to race is $5 for UNA students and $10 for community members and all proceeds will benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Shoals. Come dressed in your best toga and ready to race!

RSO Kick-Off What is it?
This is a mandatory event for at least three members of every Recognized Student Organization to attend in order to be trained in several areas including diversity, student allocation training, etc. RSOs must register for the event through the ‘forms’ link at www.una.edu/student-engagement. Check in begins at 8:30 a.m., with the conference beginning at 9 a.m. Students must be present the whole time to get credit for attending.

Interfraternity Council Recruitment
IFC Recruitment is September 3-7 and it is free to attend. Men will meet all 7 chapters and learn about each one. On the final day, men who attend could potentially receive an invitation to join a fraternity.

National Pan-Hellenic Council NPHC does not participate in recruitment. They will have NPHC Convocation which serves as a general interest meeting for the 6 organizations of the council. Students learn the requirements of what it takes to join all chapters at this event.
