Triton Spring Launch Welcome Programming at the University of Missouri-St. Louis is designed to aid incoming students and returning students in their transition to college as we start a new year. Join us at the various events included in our mailer and throughout the year. Events are listed at myengage.umsl.edu or at calendar.umsl.edu. ALL NEW UNDERGRADUATE UMSL TRANSFER OR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS, REMINDERS BEFORE YOU BEGIN CLASSES COMPLETE THE BELOW ITEMS: Go to umsl.edu/tritonportal to log in to your Triton Portal to view checklist items to complete Submit TritonCard ID photo in the online portal -- Select photo upload 24 hours prior to desired pick-up date. Make sure to reference the approved requirements before submitting your photo. You must pre-submit your photo to the online portal at least 24 hours in advance of pickup, or we cannot guarantee your card will be ready. You will receive a confirmation email when your photo is approved. If you complete these steps, your printed TritonCard ID will be included with your Welcome Bag items during the week of January 11-15 or January 19-22, 2021. (Keep the remainder of the stuff the same). Turn in Disability Access Services Forms and Documentations Review Immunization Policy and complete Immunization Form(s) that apply. Note: Three forms are required for all students living on campus, and submitted prior to move-in date Complete Title IX – Not Anymore Online Tutorial before first day of classes Log into your MyGateway and click on Canvas. You will see your courses on Canvas as the professors make them visible. Canvas is the course management system that you will use throughout your academic experience. It includes your syllabus, announcements, classmates, and more. *All students must complete the COVID Canvas training prior to classes; notification will appear in your canvas site. Textbook Reservation. Now that you have finalized your course schedule, you can submit a textbook order with our UMSL Triton Store (Bookstore). They will gather all your necessary books and inform you in January of when you can pick them up. Please visit the UMSL Triton Store Website for orders at umsltritonstore.com or call 314-516-5763.
