Coaching Staff streak and ended an 0-83 Sun Belt match skid en route to the Warhawks’ first 10win season since 2005. Prior to his first appearance with the Warhawks, Hiltz served as an assistant at Phoenix College in Arizona, where with the Bears he aided the team to a runnerup finish in the 2010 NJCAA Division II regional championships and a third-place finish the year before.

PATRICK HILTZ • HEAD COACH 2ND YEAR AT ULM • 3RD OVERALL UNLV • 2002

Patrick Hiltz enters his third year at the helm after being named head volleyball coach at ULM on Jan. 25, 2013. Last season, Hiltz brought the Warhawks back to Fant-Ewing Coliseum and made it the home of the volleyball team for the first time since 2000. He coached every Warhawk on the roster to at least one career-high and guided Marcela Araya to the school’s single-season digs record of 549. Hiltz was previously an assistant coach with the Warhawks in 2012. He returned to ULM after one season as the head coach at Nicholls State.

The California native’s high school coaching experience began when he was a varsity player, becoming an assistant coach for the freshman team at San Marcos HS in Santa Barbara. From that point he has worked at high schools in Nevada and Arizona, along with coaching the Northern Arizona University club team. In Spring 2013 and 2014, Hiltz worked with head sand volleyball coach David Fischer. The coaching tandem led ULM to back-to-back appearances in the AVCA National Championship. The Warhawks had duos take points from top-tier sand volleyball programs such as USC and Georgia State. Individual ULM tandems beat duos from Florida State and UCLA and earned All-American accolades in consecutive years.

“It is great to be back at ULM, but honestly I never felt like I really left as I followed the football team’s amazing season,” said Hiltz. “I am also excited to be back because ULM gave me my first coaching opportunity at the Division I level and I am excited to lead the Warhawks. With that being said, I will be forever grateful to Nicholls State for my first head coaching opportunity. NSU as well as the Thibodeaux community will also have a place in my heart.” The 2002 UNLV graduate guided the Colonels to the 2012 Southland Conference Tournament as the league’s number seven seed. Under Hiltz’s tuteledge, outside hitter Jennifer Brandt earned Southland Conference second team accolades and outside hitter Kathryn Stock was named to the Southland Conference’s All-Academic second team, becoming the first player since 2009 to earn SLC AllAcademic honors. In 2011, Hiltz arrived at ULM as an assistant coach under Ernest Vasquez. That season, ULM snapped a 40-plus losing • 2015 ULM Warhawk volleyball •

Coaching Staff finish in the competitive RMAC and saw two CSU-Pueblo players get named First Team All-Conference on top of a CSUPueblo player getting named the defensive player of the year in 2014.

ASHLEY MICHEL • ASST. COACH 1ST YEAR AT ULM CSU-PUEBLO • 2012

Ashley Michel is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Warhawk Volleyball and Beach Volleyball programs. Prior to arriving in Monroe, Michel spent most of her career as a player and coach in Colorado. Michel most recently was the Second Assistant for Colorado State University at Pueblo where she assisted primarily with defensive specialists and setters. During her time as an assistant for the Thunderwolves, Coach Michel helped guide the team to a fifth-place

CSU-Pueblo was also her home for four years as a student-athlete. During her playing career Michel amassed 1,567 career digs, a mark that still stands as a school record. Michel was team captain for two seasons and looks to bring that leadership onto the court once again as a coach for ULM. Coach Michel will be primarily responsible for the defense and serve-receive aspect of the game for the Warhawks.

Aside from assisting for her alma mater Coach Michel also served as the head coach for Southern Colorado Precision’s 16-1 and 16-2 junior club teams during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 club volleyball seasons.

Her success as a player will be a solid foundation for her continued success as a coach. Michel was the team leader in digs for two seasons while she was with the Thunderwolves including a school record for digs in one season with 484 during her senior campaign averaging 5.57 digs per set. Michel also spent one season as a setter for CSU Pueblo prior to becoming the team’s libero. She graduated from CSU-Pueblo with her Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2012. No. 16 North Florida (21-15, 21-14), No. 7 Georgia State (20-22, 21-16, 15-11), No. 19 Tulane (21-13, 10-21, 15-13) and No. 17 South Carolina (21-17, 22-20). Lindstrom spent her previous four seasons at Weber International University in Babson Park, Fla., where her play led her to back-to-back All-Sun Conference 1st Team selections in 2011 and 2012. Prior to attending Weber International, Lindstrom spent one year at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla., where she served as backup setter.

KATIE LINDSTROM • GRAD ASST. COACH • 1ST YEAR AT ULM

Lindstrom is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communications.

Lindstrom enters her first season as graduate assistant coach for the ULM Warhawk volleyball team. The Daytona Beach, Fla., native spent her final season of volleyball on the sand this past season. Paired with current junior outside hitter Hope Pawlik, the tandem proved to be a matchup nightmare for the opposition. Slotted as the No. 2 duo on the squad, the pair led the Warhawks with five wins over top-25 teams, including No. 17 Tulane (21-16, 16-21, 15-12),

Director of Athletics Brian Wickstrom is entering his third year as the director of athletics at ULM. He was introduced as the director of athletics by ULM president Dr. Nick Bruno at a July 2, 2013 press conference. In Wickstrom’s second year at ULM, the football program finished its fundraising goal for the endzone facility and an official ground breaking ceremony was held on March 2, 2015. Construction of the facility officially began in April of 2015 and the project has an expected completion time of eight to 10 months. This is the first privately funded facility in the history of ULM Athletics. Men’s basketball had a banner season as the program won a total of 24 games and became the first-ever Sun Belt program to play a game in the month of April. During this run, attendance set all-time highs over the past 20-years. Not only have athletics programs been competitive on the court, but in Wickstrom’s two years at ULM, a total of 285 student athletes have been honored at the annual Maroon and Gold Banquet for posting a 3.0 GPA or higher. During year one at ULM, Wickstrom has had an impact on athletic facilities as baseball, soccer and tennis all added to their current facility. Wickstrom also secured funding for the expansion of the sand volleyball courts.

$5.4 million dollars in corporate sponsorships along with cultivating, soliciting and securing $15.6 million in commitments for the Capital Campaign. Wickstrom was associate athletics director at Santa Clara University from 200103. He served as the sports administrator for women’s basketball and directed development efforts that produced $8.2 million in commitments over a one-year period. Wickstrom also oversaw the $42.8 million Athletics Capital Campaign. He started his career in collegiate athletics at the University of Missouri from 1999-2000. As assistant director of athletic development, Wickstrom’s primary focus was the department’s $100 million capital campaign and facility fundraising projects. Wickstrom was a track and field athlete at Kansas State University, earning his undergraduate degree in business administration/finance in 1991. He added an MBA masters of business administration/management from K-State in 1992. Wickstrom completed his master’s in sports administration from Ohio University in 1999 and his doctorate in educational leadership from Eastern Michigan University in 2006. While at UTEP, Wickstrom was heavily involved in the community, as evidenced by his appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board by the Mayor of El Paso. He also served on the United Way Resource Allocation Committee. He and his wife Celina have three sons, Vince, John Christian and David Grant and one daughter, Bricelle Leigh.

In addition to various upgrades at baseball, soccer and tennis, Wickstrom, in a three-month span, raised $2.98 million in major gifts for the football endzone facility project. Wickstrom also has been a part of securing the top 5 gifts in ULM Athletics history. Wickstrom also oversaw the addition of ”Tailgate Terrace” for fans to tailgate during home games. New field turf has been installed thanks to the largest commitment in the history of ULM athletics and going forward, the new home for football will be JPS Field at Malone Stadium. Men’s and women’s basketball saw the addition of special courtside seating for the 2013-14 season and five different sports set new single-game and season attendance records in 2013-14 (sand volleyball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball). In 2013-14, the athletic department outsourced its ticket sales and management to The Aspire Group, while outsourcing sponsorship sales to Learfield Sports. The department also launched a new official online merchandise store as well as an auction website and a new photo store. Prior to arriving in Monroe, Wickstrom served as the director of intercollegiate athletics at UC Riverside from 2011-13. During his tenure, Wickstrom established an $80 million dollar multipurpose facility (project on hold as of Sept. 2013), while the athletic department also completed a track facility renovation ($2.8 million) and a basketball practice facility renovation ($1.2 million). A men’s basketball APR improvement plan was also implemented as the men’s basketball program posted a 989 during the 2011-12 year versus a 887 score the year prior to Wickstrom’s arrival. He also initiated and completed a logo/ rebranding effort that involved the community, alumni and students and also increased overall involvement. Wickstrom spent the previous five years as a member of the UTEP staff where he was involved in all phases of the day-to-day operations of the department including the supervision, hiring, and evaluation of staff and coaches, working with a $20 million athletics operating budget. Wickstrom oversaw all areas of External Relations while serving as the sports administrator for a number of Miners sports including the UTEP men’s basketball program and football operations. Wickstrom was also heavily involved with the planning, design and fundraising efforts for the state-of-the-art Foster Stevens Basketball Center. In Wickstrom’s tenure, the Miner Athletic Club produced the top two annual fund incomes in the history of UTEP Athletics and the three highest football season ticket numbers in the history of the program were reached. Wickstrom was instrumental in securing the 2011 C-USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball tournament for El Paso. The tournament produced close to $1,000,000 net of expenses for the conference. A native of Overland Park, Kan., Wickstrom arrived at UTEP after spending two years as assistant athletic director for development and business partnerships at the University of Michigan. In his time there, he served as the primary contact for

The University of Louisiana at Monroe has a history almost as rich and beautiful as the bayou that winds through its 238-acre campus. From its inception, it was constructed with one goal in mind – to serve the educational needs and desires of the people of northeast Louisiana. To that end, ULM has served the region exceptionally well for more than 80 years, and is positioned to continue a strong tradition of excellence far into the future.

ULM POINTS OF PRIDE Under the direction of President Dr. Nick J. Bruno, the University of Louisiana at Monroe strives to ensure that students, faculty and staff are given the best opportunity to succeed. Success is achieved through the dedication of ULM’s faculty and staff to nurture the career development, societal awareness and lifelong learning process of each student. SUN BELT CONFERENCE Is the Sun Belt Conference a modern-day fixture among the decisionmakers in the ever-changing world of college athletics? Or is the league a long-time innovator, responsible for advancements in many sports that we now take for granted? Is the Sun Belt home of an alumni base that includes national and international leaders in the areas of government, business and entertainment as well as athletics? Or is the conference one that has established itself as a national contender in a variety of sports, and one that continues to evolve in ways that directly benefit its institutions and more importantly its studentathletes? The answer is yes, yes, yes and yes. The Sun Belt Conference’s “Together We Rise” motto isn’t just hyperbole. It’s proven fact on many different levels, not the least being its place in the hierarchy of collegiate athletics. As the league prepares to celebrate four decades since its founding in 1976, the Sun Belt occupies a “seat at the table” as a permanent part of the NCAA’s 24-member Board of Directors. That alone insures that the conference has a voice in determining the future as college sports continues to change and evolve. Changing and evolving have been hallmarks of the league since its existence. College basketball might be a shadow of its current self had the Sun Belt not led the way in the establishment of the shot clock. The conference also wrote history at the start of the century when it inaugurated football as a league sport – becoming the first alreadyexisting Division I conference to take such action. The Sun Belt was originally founded to give home to some of the nation’s premier mid-major basketball teams, and the league’s history is dotted with success in many different men’s and women’s sports through its history. But when the desire for a higher national profile and the desire of its membership brought about football sponsorship in 2001, the conference was figuratively reborn, and now stands as one of the 10 premier college football leagues in the country. And, with the recent debut of the College Football Playoff, the Sun Belt is guaranteed universal access based strictly on performance. A worthy football team in the Sun Belt can be in the national championship picture, and the league is a permanent part of the “Group of Five” conferences (joining the American Athletic Conference, the Mountain West Conference, the Mid-American Conference and Conference USA) that will send its highest-rated champion to a premier Jan. 1 bowl game. In only 15 years of football, the Sun Belt has earned ties to no fewer than seven bowl games. In addition to the potential of the College Football Playoff, the league has guaranteed spots in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, the GoDaddy Bowl, the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl and the new Cure Bowl for bowl-eligible teams each and every season. Beginning in 2016, the Sun Belt will also be part of a conference rotation that will send teams to the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl and the Miami Beach Bowl. No football conference in history has ever boasted as many bowl relationships in its first two decades of existence, but such breakthroughs have been the rule rather than the exception for a league that continues to exceed expectations. Just in the last three seasons, league members have recorded 52 non-conference wins including a record 21 victories outside the league in 2013. The Sun Belt also has a winning record over its fellow “Group of Five” conferences over the past two seasons, and has claimed three bowl victories in those two years. Gridiron success has grown in the league for several years, but success can also happen overnight. New league member Georgia Southern claimed the Sun Belt football title in its first year in the conference last fall. Appalachian State, another league newbie, rattled off six consecutive wins to close the 2014 football season and finish with a winning 7-5 record. Texas State has finished its two football seasons in in the conference as a bowl eligible team, going 6-6 in its inaugural Sun Belt campaign and then 7-5 this past season. Football, though, is by no means the only hallmark of success for the

league. Just this past season, Georgia State knocked off third-seeded Baylor in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament and Little Rock defeated sixth-seeded Texas A&M in the women’s NCAA tournament . With the league’s postseason tournaments headed back to the conference’s home city, the “Big Easy” of New Orleans, and a plethora of standouts returning for this season, the league is poised for another successful hoops season. Baseball and softball continue to put the league in the national spotlight during the spring season, with deep runs into postseason play and high visibility in the national polls becoming a tradition. UL Lafayette’s baseball team was the nation’s No. 1 team in the final third of the 2014 season and has reached the NCAA Super Regional round each of the past two years, while the UL Lafayette softball team has advanced to the Super Regional three straight years including a trip to the 2014 College World Series. Many league sports have made statements on the national level, and that is a tribute to the university and athletic administrators that serve both the league institutions and the student-athletes at each school. That this level of success comes at a time of sweeping change in collegiate athletics adds even more to these accomplishments. With those changes, opportunities for student-athletes to succeed both on and off the field have never been greater, and the Sun Belt is well positioned in the areas of scholarship, student welfare and academic success. During the 2014-15 academic year alone, Sun Belt member institutions awarded nearly $50 million in scholarship funds to over 3,084 student-athletes while also contributing over $2 million from the Student Assistance Fund (SAF) to over 1,779 student-athletes. The league and its institutions rewrite the Sun Belt’s record book each year in grade-point averages and academic honors, and member schools’ success in the NCAA’s APR rankings provide even more proof of the league’s academic commitment. In 2015, the conference doubled the number of teams that received NCAA Public Recognition Awards, given to teams that post APR scores in the top 10 percent of their sport, as 14 teams were among the national honorees compared to seven in 2014. “We have never been as strong as we are now academically and financially, and I believe we are getting stronger all the time athletically,” said former Sun Belt Conference president and Troy University chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr. recently. “I truly believe the best is yet to come.” The strength of any league lies in its membership, with the Sun Belt’s 11-school football membership including Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Idaho, UL Lafayette, UL Monroe, New Mexico State, South Alabama, Texas State and Troy. Little Rock and UT Arlington compete in all sports as non-football members while Idaho and New Mexico State are football-only members. Those members give the Sun Belt a mix of the “old” and the “new”, with many long-time Sun Belt institutions continuing to have success and a solid corps of conference newcomers ready to make their marks on the league and national levels. The varied campuses and locations reflect another league strength – its diversity. The mix of regions and regional cultures provide a rare opportunity for the league’s student-athletes to experience many environments. But those same student-athletes can also experience that without leaving their own campuses. For every All-Pro linebacker DeMacus Ware (Troy) and Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Charles Tillman (UL Lafayette), and for every World Series MVP David Freese (South Alabama) coming from Sun Belt campuses, there are also U.S. presidents (Lyndon Johnson, Texas State), business icons (Chick-fil-a president Daniel Cathy, Georgia Southern), nationally-known entertainers (Tim McGraw, UL Monroe, and Ludacris, Georgia State), and there is royalty (Miss America Debbye Turner, Arkansas State). These proud alumni, as well as the thousands of student-athletes and staff members at all of its institutions, are proof that the Sun Belt Conference continues to gain stature and provide the promise of future success with every sunrise. “Together We Rise” has never been more appropriate.

The ULM Strength and Conditioning Department is built around enhancing our athlete’s ability to perform both physically and mentally, on and off the field of play. Physically our objective is to prepare our athletes to compete at a championship level and to prevent injury on and off the field. This is attained by training at a maximal level and incorporating both sport specific and position specific exercises in the weight room and on the field. Our various “prehab” techniques and close partnership with the Athletic Training Department allows us to keep our athletes safe and prevent injury before it occurs. Mentally our objective is to prepare our athletes for the rigors and demands of competition on the field and in life. We look to enhance our athletes’ ability to maintain a high level of focus, maturity, discipline, responsibility, accountability, loyalty, and competitiveness. ATHLETIC TRAINING

WE ARE THE WARHAWKS The Rise of the Warhawks Moving into the Sun Belt Conference in the 2006-07 season, ULM’s athletic department completed a transformation of sorts. Unique to the program, ULM’s Warhawk moniker is the only one at the highest level of NCAA competition and one of only two Warhawks at any collegiate level in the entire nation. ULM’s Warhawks provide fans with multiple points of pride to rally behind. The mascot holds local historical connection to the P-40 ‘Warhawk’ airplane flown by northeast Louisiana’s General Claire Chennault and the Flying Tigers of WWII. The Warhawk is also symbolic of the red-shouldered hawk, a local predatory bird commonly found nesting along Bayou DeSiard and soaring above ULM’s athletic facilities year round. On August 30, 2006, ULM mascot ‘ACE THE WARHAWK’ landed. Wearing bomber jacket, flight helmet and goggles, Ace has provided a perfect representation of the dual meaning of ULM’s mascot. Less than two months later, Warhawk I, a live red-shouldered hawk permanently housed at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo in Monroe, La., was added to the ULM family of mascots. Warhawk II now resides at the zoo. Since their arrival, ACE and Warhawk II have become vital parts of the ULM community. Including appearances at home athletic events and other activities around campus, the duo rally fans to help the Warhawks achieve victory. The pair also make appearances across the Monroe and West Monroe community, providing educational opportunities for ULM’s youngest fans. The Ace’s Kids Club is a special membership group for Warhawk fans age 12 and younger. One-year memberships are available and members receive season tickets to all home Warhawk athletic events, an Ace’s Kids Club t-shirt, membership card and invitations to exclusive events.

ULM TRADITION The rafters at Fant-Ewing Coliseum are full and the trophy cases across campus are overflowing with the fruits of ULM’s athletic successes. Beginning with a men’s cross country and track and field conference championship in 1958-59, the Warhawks have a storied run at the top of the standings in each sport over the athletic program’s history. From national championships to basketball Final Fours and collegiate baseball World Series appearances, fans at ULM have become accustomed to watching their teams compete - and win - at the highest level. The Warhawks have advanced to the national semifinals of major tournaments in six different sports and ULM has claimed more than 90 conference championships. The ULM men’s squads have claimed all-sports titles 14 times, including four in the Gulf States Conference (1963, ‘64, ‘65, ‘69), the Atlantic Sun (1980, ‘81, ‘82), and the Southland Conference (1984, ‘88, ‘90, ‘91, ‘92, ‘93, ‘94). The ULM women have grabbed all-sports titles six times in the Southland Conference (1984, ‘85, ‘87, ‘88, ‘90, ‘94). During the 1984 SLC season, ULM became the first program in conference history to win all sports titles on both the men’s and women’s side. The Warhawks would accomplish the feat three more times. After conquering the Southland Conference, ULM made the move to the Sun Belt Conference and has continued its winning ways. Before the Warhawks had even become full members of their new league, the team had won a football conference championship in 2005. One year later, ULM won a divisional title in men’s basketball and followed that up one season later with a 2008 regular season championship in baseball. Baseball again won a conference title, this time a tournament crown in 2012, and the club reached the postseason (NCAA Baton Rouge Regional).

ATHLETIC FOUNDATION The primary support group for the University of Louisiana at Monroe Athletics is the ULM ATHLETIC FOUNDATION. The Athletic Foundation, founded in 1956, is the main fund-raising organization for the athletics department. WHAT IS THE ATHLETIC FOUNDATION? The ULM Athletic Foundation is the pillar of support for Warhawk Athletics. It is composed of individuals and businesses with a common mission: to raise financial support and awareness for Warhawk Athletics, positively promote all athletic events, grow our fan and donor base, and enhance the lives of more than 300 student-athletes. FIVE WAYS YOU CAN HELP ULM ATHLETICS 1. Donate to the Athletic Foundation and “Give 110 percent” of your previous year’s giving. Your gift to the Athletic Foundation allows us to provide much needed financial assistance to the athletics department. Increased funding is vital to improving and maintaining competitiveness in all 17 varsity sports.

2. Recruit friends and colleagues to buy season tickets and donate to the Athletic Foundation. Increased financial support comes from many different revenue sources. Whether participating in a special event, attending home games or making a donation, your financial support is vital to providing a championship experience to every studentathlete! 3. Make a gift toward scholarship endowments or facility upgrades If you are interested in making a gift to the Athletic Foundation, we will work with you to make sure that your wishes for this important gift are satisfied. When you make a gift, we will continue to partner with you in shepherding the contribution as you wish. 4. Let us know if your company has a matching gift program Over 1,000 companies participate in matching gift programs which allow you to double or triple your Athletic foundation contributions. Please check with your Human Resources Department to determine if your company matches gifts for athletic scholarships. Or visit ulm.edu/giftmatch.

5. Include ULM Athletics when preparing or revising your will or estate plan. Many donors choose to make gifts such as trusts and annuities when revising their estates and wills. These instruments allow the donor to see the benefit of planned giving while they are still able to stay involved in the athletics program. Another course of action is an outright gift as part of a will or estate plan. Both planned giving and bequests are a great plan to link your legacy to Warhawk Athletics. Tax Information The ULM Athletic Foundation is a qualified taxexempt corporation under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service. Please consult your tax advisor to see how laws apply to your particular gift. The ULM Athletic Foundation tax-ID number is 23-7399232. To make a gift or find additional information, please call the ULM Athletic Foundation at (318) 342-5415 or visit us online at ulmwarhawks.com/athleticfoundation.

ULM posted the third-largest turnaround in the country from the year before.

2014-15 ATHLETIC SUCCESSES

Marcela Araya became the volleyball program’s all-time digs leader as she concluded her four-year career with 1,916 total digs. She also set a new single-season digs record as she tallied 655 digs during the 2014 season. On the sand courts, Araya teamed with Michelle McNamee and the duo posted a 22-7 regular-season record and made an appearance in the AVCA National Sand Championships.

Faith Bohack took down a Warhawk record that had stood for 12 years. Bohack set career-high numbers in runs, triples and RBI. With 50 RBI, Bohack became the first Warhawk in program history to drive home 50 or more runs in a single season as she set a new single-season record in RBI by breaking Casey Goodman’s record of 46 set in 2003.

Ines Fendt closed her four-year career as a Warhawk with her best season with the program as she notched Second Team All-Sun Belt honors. Fendt played in all 28 rounds leading the team with a 75.71 stroke average en route to seven top-10 finishes, including five top-five finishes. At the SBC Tournament, Fendt finished in second place, the highest individual finish at the conference tournament in women’s golf history.

Gerrand Johnson notched First Team All-Sun Belt and First Team All-Louisiana honors after notching 93 total tackles from the middle of the defensive line. With his 93 total tackles, he became the first Warhawk defensive lineman to lead the team in tackles since the 1980 season (Ken Poole, 104 tackles). Johnson also registered 12.5 tackles for loss including six sacks during the 2014 campaign.

Antonia Land became the first-ever ULM soccer player to earned NSCAA All-South Region honors as she was selected to the Third Team. Land helped ULM break the program record last year in points in a season with 126 (37 goals, 52 assists). The Warhawks finished two wins better than the year before and also increased their conference win tally.

Keelin Rasch earned Second Team All-Sun Belt honors after leading SBC in both hits and total bases during the regular season. Rasch finished second in the SBC in batting average, fourth in slugging percentage, and fifth in RBI at the conclusion of the regular season. He was the second toughest player to strikeout in the Sun Belt at the end of the regular season. Rasch was tied for the team lead in both runs and homers.
