UK advanced all the way to the quarterfinals of the 2008 WNIT before falling to eventual champion Marquette, 69-64.

Amber Smith – who tied a career high with 17 points – sank eight free throws in the overtime period and Victoria Dunlap scored a career-high 24 points to lead UK to an 81-76 overtime victory over Chattanooga in the first round of the 2009 WNIT.
