Rolart M. Lyon
The University's Military Band is an organized group under the direction of bandmaster Robert M. Lyon which provides music for the marching feet of the R.O.T.C. cadets during the drills and inspections. This band is organized with officers and a board of directors. The blue and gold suits started this year by playing and parading at their homecoming game. Later in the season at the Oregon game, they again played and paraded. In a Band Concert, with a repetoire which included older classics and the newest in swing, the musical cadets ended their year.
