THE IDAHO STUDENT CHAPTER of the American Society of Civil Engineers was
installed at the University of Idaho in 1926. The American Society of Civil Engineering was founded in 1852 for the advancement of the engineering profession. Membership in the chapter is composed of the students registered in the civil engineering curriculum. The society maintains contact with its national organization and with practicing engineers and their problems.
