Varsity Track Otto K. Idaho showed signs of potential strength in the first meet of the season, an indoor triangular event with Washington State and Whitman as the opposition, in Pullman. Idaho took six firsts to place second with fifty-eight points, while the Cougars won the meet with eighty-seven. Whitman trailed with thirteen points. Heath won the mile run in 4:37, Lemp took the 80-yard high hw-dles in lOA,
Thomas won the 880 in 2:1.4, Alvord took the 75-yard low hurdles in 804, Heath
