When you choose to live on campus, you’ll select one of four UHDS dining plans. Each dining plan has a corresponding dollar amount for use at any of the 18 UHDS-operated locations. The dining plan functions as a declining balance account, deducting the price of items purchased. All meal service in UHDS dining facilities is a la carte.
Dining Dollars • Dining Dollars may be used at all restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores managed by UHDS. • Students receive a 15 percent discount on purchases made with UHDS Dining Dollars. • Each dining plan includes a pre-purchased amount of Dining Dollars, added to your Student ID Card at the start of each term. You can check your account balance online at myuhds. oregonstate.edu • Dining Dollars carry over from term to term, but they must be used by the end of spring term. Dining plans can be changed at any time during the school until May 31, 2013 by logging in to MyUHDS (some restrictions apply).
Orange Rewards oregonstate.edu/orangerewards • Orange Rewards is a pre-purchased account that can be used at all 30 campus restaurants on campus, including UHDS facilities and those located in the Memorial Union, Dixon Recreation Center, Valley Library, Linus Pauling Science Center and Kelley Engineering Center. • All UHDS dining plans include a one-time-only allotment of $100 of Orange Rewards funds for the academic year. These are preloaded at the start of the fall term. You can add more funds at any time at mycard.oregonstate.edu. • Use Orange Rewards and receive a 10 percent discount on purchases at any on-campus restaurant. • Enjoy the convenience of using your student ID card at any location on campus, since it contains both your UHDS Dining Dollars and Orange Rewards accounts. • Orange Rewards funds carry over term to term, as long as you are affiliated with Oregon State University. • You can check their balance or designate family members to add funds to your Orange Rewards account at mycard.oregonstate.edu.
