Professional attire required. The purpose of the Gulf Coast Job Fair is to allow employers to share career information and opportunities with UHCL students, alumni and faculty from various degree programs and work experience. The job fair is open to the public.

The 2012 Fall Teacher Job Fair connects school districts and agencies to UHCL students, alumni, faculty and community members. Professional attire required.

AlumNight/Carmen Moreno Book Event Tuesday, October 9 6-8 p.m. Bayou Building, Garden Room and Atrium I Come listen to alumna Carmen Moreno share her insights and experiences as she presents her personal memoir, Journey to the Aisle: A Story of Cultural Expectations. Her story seamlessly presents how one woman wandered through life to find the happiness and contentment that her heart has been desiring— amid stern rules and established ethos. The event is free to attend and copies of Journey to the Aisle will be available for purchase.

Veterans Day Celebration Sunday, November 11 3-4:30 p.m. UHCL, Liberty Park Rain Location: Bayou Building, Atrium I www.uhcl.edu/veteransday The university’s annual celebration is a moving tribute to all veterans. This event is free and open to the public.
