LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Words by Tue Elkjær This issue is on all things cozy, inspired by the Danish concept ”HYGGE”, which can’t be fully explained in English, but here it goes: Danish “HYGGE” is a state of coziness, happiness and comfort – it can be a verb, an adjective as well as a substantive noun. So “HYGGE” can be an action, but it can also be a description of a person or situation, but it can also be a term for a mental state of being. You get it, it can be many things. It’s no wonder that the multifaceted concept of “HYGGE” is from Denmark (where we’re based). After all, Denmark is the land of beer, bacon and butter cookies – now that’s “HYGGE”! The winter season is here and it requires some serious ”HYGGE” in order to get through it. Personally I’ve always loved winter, for me it’s basically an excuse to wear leather gloves and knitwear, while I chug down hot chocolate and rum toddies, like they had no calories at all – with the weak excuse that, to quote Ricardo Montalban; baby, it’s cold outside. Winter just encourages more fun and more “HYGGE”, maybe it’s because of the early sunsets and long evenings. Historically speaking, it was customary for more social gatherings and soirees in winter, back in pre-world-wars-European-society. Somehow, this custom still has some hold of us, in the present day. Not that much has changed since the time of Edith Wharton or Emile Zola. It’s a well known fashion custom/myth that the autumn/winter collections are more glamorous than other seasons and they get more hype in the media. But then again, logically winter does call for much more clothing than the spring/summer season, if for nothing else, then just to keep warm. In winter, outfits become more complicated than just wearing bottoms and some sort of top – you need to wear so many layers of clothing and why not glam that shit up. In winter suits are much more comfortable, you can wear gloves, boots not to mentions various jackets, coats and uh, FUR. So even though winter does make life a bit more difficult, it also makes life more fun, glamorous and “HYGGE”. So take a page from the Danes and the concept of “HYGGE”. There’s a reason why Danes are always called out as the happiest people, maybe it’s consumerism, partying and butter cookies.

COMFORTABLE IN YOUR OWN SKIN A LOOK INTO ANTINOISE AW15-16 COLLECTION

They say it’s important to be comfortable in your own skin. But we say, that it’s cool to be comfy in another animal’s skin – aka leather jackets! Leather jackets is one of those great pieces of apparel that transcends fashion. Animal hide was one of the first known materials to be used for clothing, and it was widely used since prehistoric time, back in what Google calls the paleolithic time (and no, we’re not going to discuss the validity of the paleo diet, even if we mention the paleolithic era - we ain’t got time for that) Since then, the use of animal hide for clothing has survived, evolved and been continuously refined. We’ve recently gotten our eyes fixed on the Japanese fashion label ANTINOISE, which creates beautiful and original leather jackets, with a sense of rough-hemmed refinement. The reason we love ANTINOISE is the labels integrity and it’s respect for the animal material. Leather is here used consciously and with care. An ANTINOISE leather jacket is not, repeat not, a purchase to last a season, but should be a sophisticated and staple piece in your wardrobe – to be worn often and for many years. CHILLIN’ WITH SIMONE KAMILLA LET’S TALK ABOUT FASHION

Words by Tue Elkjær PICTURES BY TANIA GIBSON // WWW.TANIAGIBSON.DK MAKEUP BY MICKAELA BERMAN // WWW.MICKAELABERMAN.COM STYLING BY TUE ELKJÆR // WWW.UGLYFAT.DK Music and fashion has lived in a kind of symbioses for a long time. Stage performers have been displaying fashion apparel since before the time of Charles Fredrick Worth. In this context there’s a new name on the scene, the multi-talented dancer/model/singer Simone Kamilla, who has recently released a single, called “Catwalk”. The song, as well as the music video, has tons of references to the fashion industry. Simone Kamilla herself, works both within fashion, music, dance and acting, so she would have done Worth proud. The first time I heard the song “Catwalk” was at it’s first public debut, as part of a Fashion Show, during Copenhagen Fashion Week AW15. I was really feeling the Simone Kamilla’s song and as it turned out, she was sitting next to me on the front row, along with her mother and a friend (Jesper Kauffeldt, who owns the event agency; Eventkontoret). We managed to talk a bit before the show started and I really took an interest in the song. We discussed the french song lyrics, the songs references to high fashion and just the fashion milieu in general. So when the music video was released, I attended the release party with much enthusiasm. Since then I’ve seen the video on YouTube so many times, that it’s the second thing my browser suggests, when I put in the letter “y” (the first suggestion just being YouTube). Also I’ve added “Catwalk” to several of my Spotify playlists. Anyway, I met up with Simone Kamilla for an official chat, to get her perspective on fashion, her single and her views on good style. What inspired you to make the single “Catwalk”? I was inspired by my own experiences as a model. But actually my very first inspiration for the lyrics was from the life of the model Ruslana Korshunova, who ended her life at a very young age, due to the pressure in the fashion industry. How much creative influence did you have on the music video?

I had a lot of creative influence, especially in regards to the choreography. We, Billie Joy Alexander the art director and director Mads Rosenkrantz, was inspired by Disney stories and fairytales such as Snowwhite and Hansel and Gretel by the brothers Grimm. So the music video is set in this fantasy universe. Did you write the lyrics for “Catwalk”, or is it the work of someone else? I wrote the french text myself. But I co-wrote the content with Frederik Ømann. Your music video is very glamorous and very...well, fashion. But it also has a lot of humor, like you’re making a little fun of the fashion scene. What are your views on fashion, are you very critical of the fashion scene? No I love fashion. But it is true that the video is very humorous. It should not merely be seen as a critical comment to the fashion scene, but primarily as a satirical music video. In fact, it is more a criticism of the egocentrism and vanity that exist in our society today, which is especially present in the fashion industry. I’m also a victim of this myself. I sometimes think of the age we live in and of the western society as comparable to the fall or decline of the Roman Empire. What made you want to go into the music business? I have some friends with whom I’ve made some music earlier (Sanne Gottlieb, who is my best friend and like a sister to me). But this track and the corresponding video was mostly for fun. What is your style as a music artist? I would call it pop/house. What inspires you as a music artist? My creative influence, music-wise, derives from The Knife, Robyn and french house music. As a dancer it mostly comes from waacking or vogue dance. What are your favorite fashion brands and/or designers? Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood & Jean Paul Gaultier. What about when you go shopping, do you have some favorite places to get your fashion gear? I don’t go shopping for new clothes that often. Actually, I mostly mix and match clothes that I got from different fashion shows and modeling jobs, that I have participated in.

Do you have a favorite item in your wardrobe? I don’t have a favorite item per say, but I do have a soft spot for Agent Provocateur underwear. And I have a pair of high heels from Marc Jacobs, that I love to wear. Do have any specific style icons, you look up to or get inspiration from, in your personal style? Lady Gaga, Marilyn Monroe and Coco Chanel. All three of them overcame many obstacles in their life to gain fame and fortune. What is your best beauty tip? My beauty tip is to exercise, avoid sunbathing and be happy about yourself regardless of age, gender, looks, race and so forth. What do you think is the next step for you professionally? Besides my music I’m also still modelling. Right now I’m featured in the Danish magazine ‘Alt for Damerne’ and I’ve also just modelled for the fashion brand; Misty May. Next week I’m performing in a music video for Turkish artist Rasit. It’s set to be filmed in Ystad, Sweden, in this beautiful old theater. Here I will be dancing a ballet solo. Otherwise I was just cast in “Dicte” (a Danish TV-series) season 3, in a role as a blogger, and I was very close in getting the role. We were only two girls left, but it went to the other girl. But I would love to do more acting, it’s really fun. If you want to see Simone Kamilla’s music video and hear the song, you can find it here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuifAzlr_7Q We recommend you make this song a stable part of your primping routine, before attending fashion events, I know that’s how I prepare for events these days (well, that and a glass of nerve clicquot).

ON THE GO WITH MARDOU & DEAN COMFORTABLY CHIC

When dressing for the day, it’s always a trial to archive a balance between looking fabulous and being comfortable enough to actually make it through the God damn day. Most design labels seem to have a preference for looks and concepts rather than physical comfort - but not all. The Norwegian label MARDOU & DEAN creates clothes with an emphasis of how the clothes feels when worn – both mentally and physically. MARDOU & DEAN is founded and run by Norwegian designer Ingrid Bredholt and Swedish Patrik Rosenfors - the latter having a background in medicine and economics. The inspiration behind their products is music, art and literature, often with beat nick undertones. So the next time you stand in front of your closet, trying to choose something to wear, that will make you look fabulous without getting you down, then you might want to consider MARDOU & DEAN. Especially since you probably have a long and busy day, but MARDOU & DEAN products are actually inspired by, and made for, a life on the go. Since we’re all constantly going somewhere, on our way to do something, we feel like the MARDOU & DEAN products are made specifically for all of us.

BASIC SUSTAINABILITY FOR THE REGULAR-JOE

Sustainable fashion has been a popular catch phrase and a common sales pitch in the fashion community, during the past decade. However the sustainable fashion game is usually divided into two camps; the recycled/upcycled fashionista and the buy-it-new, sooo-fabulous fashion apparel. But the danish designer Kristian Gørup is working to change this dynamic, by trying to draw focus on basic, sustainable items for the regular-Joe. Kristian has made this editorial to illustrate how sustainable fashion is not just for the overtly fabulous fashionista-dude, but also for the more down-to-earth man. In his styling, Kristian has mostly used items that are trans-seasonal, which are produced and sold with a never-out-of-stock principle – meaning that the product is available for more than a single season and are made to use for much longer than just one season. Kristian notes that there are many basic fashion products on the market, which are made sustainably. The idea behind the editorial, is to show how many sustainable products are out there, that can appeal to the average guy, who cares about the environment and how he looks, but without being a down-right fashionista. This editorial is to inspire more men to buy clothes sustainably and to show how easy it is to create a basic wardrobe, with items that can be put together in many different ways. Basically, how to have a full and sustainable wardrobe, with a few basic items. WHAT’S GOOD FOR THE BUZZ, IS GOOD FOR THE BOD!

TESTING THE CARLSBERG BEER BEAUTY PRODUCTS Words by Tue Elkjær The world renowned Danish beer brewery Carlsberg has now expanded to making products for the outside of your body too, namely a series of grooming products for men. The series include, shampoo, conditioner and a body lotion, but in honor of Movember, a series of shaving products has just been added to the range. This somewhat unexpected move from the Danish brewery, is according to Carlsberg due to two factors: First Carlsberg explains, beer has a tradition for being used as a beauty product. Oddly enough, Catherine Zeta-Jones has said something similar once, about using beer to treat her hair. Being a country boy myself, I can also remember some of the moms of my childhood village using beer as a hair treatment. Secondly Carlsberg says that they’ve done a survey which indicated a demand for more man-friendly grooming products on the market. Their research showed that though most men do tend to their looks and use grooming products. But a lot of men regularly used their wife or girlfriends products, instead of using product specifically made for men. From these facts the director of Research at Carlsberg Laboratories, Zoran Gojkovic reasoned, that beer-based grooming products would be the perfect way to make grooming a bit more masculine. You gotta hand it to Carlsberg, it’s a genius move. Therefor Carlsberg decided to use the historically wellknown benefits of beer for grooming (which apparently has a long and intricate history), and thus they created a series of beer-based grooming products for men. I decided to test out the products myself, to see if beer is as good for the outside of my body, as they feel for the inside of my throat. ON FIRST IMPACT When I received the package from Carlsberg I tore it open and found the goods gift wrapped in white paper with the Carlsberg logo (the flower thing). After taking a moment to be rather impressed, I tore of the gift wrap like a greedy child at Christmas and found the products in three individual brown paper boxes with Carlsberg-green labels. I hurried to open them and immediately replaced my regular shampoo and conditioner in my bathroom, with the Carlsberg ones. All the while I’m a bit disgruntled that I’ve already had my morning shower. So instead I hurry up and dunk out some lotion from the green plastic pump containing the Carlsberg body

lotion and use it on my hands. Here I finally get to answer the question that has been burning inside me since I first heard of the Carlsberg grooming products; Does it smell like beer and will using it make me smell like a beer-hangover? The lotion does smell a bit like beer, but even more so of orange-flavored candy and it instantly install me with an overwhelming craving for both beer and candy (but weirdly not for oranges!?). But the lotion also has some sweet-herb-like smell to it, kind of like dill. I don’t routinely use body lotion, but now use it to treat my autumm-weathered hands (just the hands, get your filthy mind out of the gutter or I’ll wash it out with beer-shampoo) and to experience the lotion. The lotion is very smooth and comfortable and is absorbed in like 10-20 seconds or so, leaving my hands smooth, moist and with a pleasant and sweet scent, but without being decidedly feminine nor masculine. Being me, I read the instructions after use and find out that according to Carlsberg, the body lotion is “like beer. But for your skin”, the bottle also informs me that the lotion is “packed with vitamin-B and silicone from barley, hops and yeast”. The description text also claims that “it’s a beer-beauty match made in heaven”. This last information left me with a movie idea for when beer met beauty, which immediately raised the question of whether or not beauty was still beauty, when beer woke up in bed with beauty the next day?! As a conclusion, the instructions for the lotion warns me to groom responsibly, which frankly is a more realistic goal for me then drinking responsibly. So right on Carlsberg, I’ll promise to groom responsibly. After this initial experience of one of the Carlsberg products, I’m amazed. I’ve never experienced a promotional product that was this nice and functional, or one that gave me such a craving for a beer and candy - dude it’s insane. I start using the shampoo and conditioner a Saturday morning with a beer hangover, which seems rather appropriate – after all what goes better with beer than beer. People do say that the cause is the best cure, when it comes to hangover and this (grooming yourself with beer-based products after a night of drinking beer) seems a whole new way to go about it. The shampoo actually looks like beer, it has the exact color and the fragrance resembles beer a lot more than the body lotion. The beer-shampoo works like most shampoos, it works best if you lather, rinse and repeat. The overall experience is nice and there is some fun and joy in using a shampoo that not only is made from, but also so much resembles beer. I faithfully follow up with the conditioner, which scent has hints of herbs and sweets, but only a bit of beer. The pump for the conditioner only pumps out very little conditioner at a time, so it takes some patience to pump out enough. However I, perhaps drunk from shampoo or from the night before, make a game of it by trying to remember the lyrics to the 90’s hit “Pump up the jam” by Technotronic....this goes on for the

rest of the shower. The conditioner is smooth and easy and within a couple of minutes it makes my hair, nice, soft and beer-y. After the shower I finally use the body lotion, even though I only rarely use body lotion, but y’know, now that I have it. The overall experience is nice and all this beer grooming has left me, and my bathroom, with a pleasant aroma, that can best be described as an understated and sophisticated scent of dude.

AFTER A WEEK After a week I start to have a sense of the products. The body lotion is definitely making my skin softer, but since I didn’t really use body lotion regularly before, it might just be because my skin is suddenly regularly moisturized. The shampoo and conditioner is still super fun to use and gives me the same casual feeling and scent of drinking an after-work-beer, only this time it’s in my hair and happening in the morning before work....in the shower...so the same and yet a completely different experience from the after-work-beer, but still super relaxing. The Carlsberg shampoo and conditioner does require more frequent use than my regular shampoo. Maybe because it really moisturizes my hair and makes it oily faster than with my regular products. On the other hand, the Carlsberg shampoo does tame my usually frizzy hipster locks and makes my hair softer and easier to control. My hair does constantly smell a bit like sweetened beer now, but only faintly and it smells fresh. So the Carlsberg hair products does not, NOT, make you smell like a beer-hangover, as I feared. The sweet beer smell really just makes my hair smell like a groomed dude, but without ever smelling effeminate or stink like a nervous frat boy on a first date - like many mens shampoos do. AFTER TWO WEEKS By now I realize that I need to use the products a bit differently than I have until now. I still really like the shampoo, but my hair is definitely getting to much moisture, since my hair wasn’t really dry to begin with. I start to hold back on the conditioner, to using it only once a week and hope it well make my hair less sloppy. AFTER THREE WEEKS Holding back on the conditioner seems to be working, but it’s to soon to tell. By now, my hair is very

healthy from using the products and I don’t have to use nearly as much styling products, as I did before using the Carlsberg products. There’s nothing new to report on the body lotion, it still keeps my skin in good shape, I start to see the benefits to using body lotion. Also, I had some friends over and my Carlsberg beer products were quickly discovered in my bathroom, to much discussion and admiration. Apparently, the products are not only fun to use, but also makes great conversation pieces. People start testing and sniffing all the products, some even tasted it and lets me know that the body lotion tastes rather well, almost like candy. Soooo, y’know, that’s nice. Since the people who tasted the products didn’t get sick, I’m guessing it’s some very wholesome products. All the same I stick to exclusively using the grooming products on the outside of my body. AFTER FOUR WEEKS I’m finally getting the hang of it. I use the shampoo like two-three times a week (before I only used shampoo once a week) and use the conditioner once a week, kind of like a hair mask. My hair is getting a lot of benefits of this routine, it’s easy to handle and groom. My hair is soft, fluffy and stays in it’s place. The shampoo especially, but also the conditioner, is making my hair healthier and is not nearly is damaging as other shampoos are. IN CONCLUSION I would really recommend grooming yourself with the Carlsberg grooming products. The beer-based products adds some fun to your daily routine and as soon as you find the balance between the products, then your hair will get massive benefits from using them. However, you will have to live with a frequent craving for a Carlsberg beer and candy, but mostly for the beer. But even that side effect, of having constant product placement in your bathroom, is actually quite entertaining and just makes everyday life more fun. The only downside is that you can only buy the products as a package deal, which means I will always have excess body lotion and conditioner, since I’ll always run out of shampoo before the other products. Carlsberg should consider selling the products individually. If you’re interested in buying the products or just learn more about them, then go to the Carlsberg webpage; www.carlsberg.com/#!beer-beauty

KEEPING WARM WITH IURI... ...FROM HEAD TO TOE

Nothing is more cozy or comfy, then keeping warm with some nice socks and maybe a cap or a hat. But socks are rarely hailed as being super stylish or very fashion - although there have been more focus on socks as of late (maybe the fashion world is working towards a pronounced foot fetish, we don’t know). But even though there has been some stylish socks here and there, then there is one designer that stands out; Jure Stropnik. He is what one might call a prince of fashion socks. Jure Stropnik founded the fashion accessories label IURI back in 2013, exclusively producing socks. But since then, IURI has expanded to also produce T-shirts, caps and hats, as well as the most fabulous socks we’ve ever seen - for both men and women. All of IURI’s products are made entirely in Italy, with a focus on high quality and natural materials (although some chemical fibers are used, because well, what would a sock be without elastane). Style-wise, the brand continuously work with styles in contrast colors and geometric patterns, to create an interesting, yet simplistic product. To sum up; IURI is a label that makes socks and hats, which are both interesting to look at on their own, but will also go gorgeously with practically any outfit. I think we all know the shame, when you go to some private event and the host asks you to not wear your shoes indoors. With IURI socks you can actually be proud to leave your shoes at the door, because your outfit will still rock and you can impress everyone with your extremely chic socks. So we at the magazine think it’s time to step up our sock-game with some IURI socks in some sweet, sweet Egyptian cotton.

THE COZY SHOPPING LIST BECAUSE REGULAR GROCERIES ARE BORING

HENRY HIGGINS, WHERE ARE MY SLIPPERS? One of the coziest things in the world is having warm feet. But since you’re not five years old, you can’t really wear giant fluffy Hello Kitty slippers. Well unless you have the same level of swag as Candy Ken (we love that dude!), but let’s face it, most of us are no match for him. There can only be one true Candy Ken anyway. Therefor we suggest some timeless ballerinas instead, for lounging about at home like you’re Brigitte Bardot or Audrey Hepburn or some other style icon who also adored ballerinas. We particularly like this pair from PRETTY BALLERINAS, which has just the right amount of fabulous luxuriousness to our taste. www.prettyballerinas.com

A SCENT OF A COZY TIME Scent has a powerful impact on how you experience a space and your emotional well being in general – at least that’s what we often hear. So part of setting an ambiance or mood, is to be aware of scent. Some might argue that with regular, thorough cleaning and remembering to air out your apartment, you can keep a nice atmosphere in your home anyway. We argue, that cleaning is super boring and time consuming, besides who has the time to do anything regularly. We prefer to take a pleasant short cut and just dim the lights (that way you can’t see the mess) and light up some pretty, scented candles. We really like this sweet pea & jasmine candle from ECOYA, which is made from soy. Ah, ECOYA, no one knows luxury eco scents like you. www.ecoya.com

STEPPING DOWN Coziness takes calm and warmth, which is easily archived by a nice carpet, which add warmth and color as well as muffles loud sounds (to the benefit of both you and your neighbors). But just because you’re in the mood to some lazy coziness, doesn’t mean you can half-ass it. We recommend this high quality carpet from GARANT, which is made from bamboo-silk and viscose. www.garant.nu

TO YOUR HEALTH Just because it’s winter and it’s too cold for you to bother going out, does not mean you have to stay sober. In fact, you need to drink a little alcohol to fight of colds and flu’s. Alcohol kills bacteria, you know! Now, we might not be doctors or anything, but we recommend you take a few shots of rum in your evening tea or make some nice hot rum toddies, just to stay healthy. We’ll definitely be hitting the rum, come the first frost. We already have our eye on this lovely BRUGAL AÑEJO SUPERIOR RUM, which has aged 2-5 years in oak barrels and has hints of caramel, vanilla and chocolate. www.brugal-rum.com

GREEN TUNES This might be the cheapest thing we’ve featured in our shoppinglist, but it’s also one of the most uplifting. The danish band UDSKUD (which actually translates to “Scum”), recently released an album called “Humlen Med Det Hele”, with nine tracks. The title is also a Danish proverb, which means that something is ‘the point of the matter’, directly translated it means “the hops of it all” (leave it to Denmark to have philosophical proverbs about beer). The album is very aptly named, since the basic theme for the album seems to be a philosophic reflexion on what’s really important in life. This reflexion is made, and answered, in poetic Danish lyrics. The answer seems to be that life is, or should be, about being an original and authentic individual, as well as about appreciating the life affirming aspects of growing and consuming your own produce. One of our favorite sentences is from track 7 (Sidste Skud På Stammen) and goes like this; “If you were perfect you’d be mega weird” (translated from the original Danish lyrics). A sentence that does give some basic perspective on life. It’s hard to put the music into a genre, since it seems to be way to personal, honest and spontaneous to be analyzed in that way. However the band describe their sound as being a mixture of “Funk, Soul, Blues, Gospel and Protest”. The leading vocal in the band is none other than our favorite Danish blogger; Persilles Hjemmedyrk, who also blogs in English on Facebook under the name Parsleys (see it here; https://www.facebook.com/Parsleys-235435173318638/?fref=ts). The album is available for downlod on bandcamp.: udskud.bandcamp.com/album/humlen-ved-det-hele

BABY, IT’S COLD OUTSIDE There’s nothing like a warm blanket, preferably used while sipping hot tea and either reading an entertaining and thought-provoking book (we prefer the Russian realists) or just binge watching Netflix (we don’t know where we’d be without Netflix). We would love to feel the luxury and comfort of this velour blanket from TURIFORM, while we just Netflix and chill. Perhaps we’ll see a historic costume drama, like ‘Great Expectations’ or ‘My Fair Lady’ - a velour blanket would go great with both those films. www.nordicform.com

GOOD IN BED There are very few things that rival the sensation of fresh bedlinen. In may be the greatest luxury of all and therefor the experience should look as amazing as it feels. Investing (because it’s totally a real investment, a good investment) in nice bedlinen can really make a difference to the over-all appearance of your bedroom and just makes the experience of going to bed more pleasurable (whether your going to bed to sleep or for some other reason). Being an adult is about having nice stuff that reflects your tastes, not to just hang on to some linen you don’t like because they were a gift and therefor free. We really like the looks of this bedlinen from TURIFORM, which has just the right overpriced-Hotel-like decadence we need in our life. After all, most of adult life is tiring, so why not treat ourselves to some nice linen for when we finally get to go to bed!? www.nordicform.com

DECODING NIGHT TIME DRESSCODES It may not be sexy, but night wear has it uses. As the winter sets in, nights can grow so cold, that having a warm body sleeping next to you, doesn’t keep you quite warm enough. What can keep you warm is some nice night time rags, like this unisex night shirt from AMBASSADOR 1867. Plus there’s no one who says that you can’t be wrapped around someone, while you’re yourself wrapped in cotton. Also, this old school night shirt is unisex, so no matter your gender and sexual preference, you can share night wear with whoever is sleeping next to you. You and your lover can even buy a night shirt each and go to sleep, matched up, chic and happy! You know what they say, never go to bed mismatching. www.ambassador1867.com

NIGHT AND DAY Nothing is cozier, then having a lazy winter day, where you not only stay inside, but actually stay in your pyjamas all day. Maybe sipping hot cocoa or tea or something. Of course pyjamas also makes for a good, and warm, nights sleep. We’d love to go to bed with this pyjamas from AMBASSADOR 1867, made from poplin cotton. Pyjamas are the best lounge wear, if someone should knock on your door, or you’ve just ordered some take out, you can still open the door unabashed, because in pyjamas you look good, while you’re chillaxing. www.ambassador1867.com

WRAPPED UP D’you know those lazy mornings where you just can’t be bothered to get dressed? We know we do and we also know that, that’s what weekends are for. After all, you’re probably going out in the evening, so why bother getting dressed until then. You can just lounge about in this stylish mens robe from AMBASSADOR 1867 (also if you’re not a man – robes are pretty much unisex). Because if you’re going to be lazy, do it in comfort and style, like a gentleman....or, you know, Hugh Hefner. We may not be fans or even remotely supporting of Hugh Hefner, but damn, the man does have style and we always respect style. Also, wearing a robe is basically like wearing a sartorial hug. www.ambassador1867.com
