MEDIA RELATIONS Internet Services All University of Delaware Athletics information (news, stats and game stories) is available on the net at www.bluehens.com. The site is updated on a daily basis, with game stories available generally one hour after each game and cumulative statistics usually within 24 hours after the last game. In addition, University of Delaware football and men’s and women’s basketball media notes are available on the internet. The notes are on the internet in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader (available for free at www.adobe.com). Notes are usually available either the day before or morning of a game. Additionally, live stats for all University of Delaware home games will be available on the website. A complete running play-by-play and box score for each game can be viewed at the website. Also live video is available for all home games at www.bluehens.com. CREDENTIALS/PRESS ROW Requests for press credentials and parking passes should be made to Scott Selheimer, Athletics Media Relations Office, University of Delaware, Bob Carpenter Center, Newark, DE 19716. Please make arrangements at least two days in advance of each game. Press Row at the Bob Carpenter Center/Acierno Arena is located at courtside opposite the player and game officials’ benches. All press guests are required to show a pass for admittance to the arena.

The media entrance is located in the rear of the building on the east side of the Bob Carpenter Center. BROADCAST ACCOMMODATIONS Facilities are available for radio broadcasting from Press Row. Stations intending to broadcast the contests should notify the Athletics Media Relations Office as far in advance of the game as possible. Three business phone lines are available for visiting broadcasters, including an ISDN line. The Ticket 1290 AM in Wilmington, Del. and members of the Blue Hen Basketball Radio Network have the exclusive broadcast rights to all Delaware basketball games and as such are the official University of Delaware basketball commercial broadcast outlet in Delaware. Television stations wishing to broadcast should follow the procedure for radio broadcasts.

IN-GAME SERVICES Working media members will be provided with game programs, notes and other developments of interest during the game. Complete statistics will be distributed at halftime and following the game. In addition, courtside monitors provide up-to-date statistics throughout the game. GAMEDAY INTERVIEWS Delaware head coach Tina Martin holds a press conference in the BCC auditorium approximately 10 minutes after the game following a cooling off period and her postgame show with the Blue Hen Basketball Radio Network. Selected players will also be available as well, usually while Coach Martin is conducting her radio interview. The University of Delaware locker room is closed to members of the media during regular season competition. Quote sheets will be done by the UD Athletics Media Relations staff for both teams, if requested, and will be available in the media room. Pregame interview requests for players or coaches should also be made prior to gameday. Approval is on a case-by-case basis. NON-GAMEDAY INTERVIEWS All requests to interview players or coaches during the week should be made through the Athletics Media Relations Office and at least one day in advance so that academic or athletic schedules are not disrupted.
