FAIRFAX, Va. -- No. 21 Delaware won its second consecutive game and remained unbeaten in CAA play with a 66-54 victory at George Mason in a physical battle at the Patriot Center...Elena Delle Donne led the way again by pouring in a season high-tying 40 points while adding 15 rebounds to record her fourth double-double of the season...Delle Donne, who has eclipsed the 30-point mark seven times this year, surpassed the 1,700point total for her career...She also added three blocks and two steals on the day...Danielle Parker scored 10 points and grabbed a season-best 14 rebounds to post her first double-double of the season for the Blue Hens (12-1, 3-0)...Lauren Carra added six points and four rebounds to aid the Blue Hen effort while Jocelyn Bailey contributed five points and six rebounds, going 5 of 6 from the line...Taleia Moton was the only Patriot to reach double figures, scoring 30 points for GMU (7-7, 1-2)...Rahneeka Saunders contributed with eight points, while Amber Easter and Cierra Strickland chipped in with five points apiece...The Hens, who have won the rebounding battle in 11 of their 13 games this season, battled on the boards yet again to take a 49-19 rebounding edge over the Patriots, including a 17-4 offensive glass advantage...However, UD, ranked 13th in the nation with just 13.8 turnovers per game, struggled to hold on to the ball as the Hens committed 21 turnovers on the day...Delaware opened the game on a jumper by Parker, and continued its trend of jumping out to big early leads with an 11-0 run, capped by three consecutive three-pointers from Delle Donne to give the Hens a 13-2 cushion just four and a half minutes into the contest...The Hens, improving to 9-6 in Fairfax in their 29th meeting with the Patriots, shot 40.0 percent from the field (22 of 55) for the game while George Mason shot 36.4 percent (20 of 55) on the day...The Hens shot a sizzling 18 of 20 for 90 percent from the charity stripe.

NEWARK, Del. -- Delaware shared the ball on offense, dishing out a season-high 19 assists, and clamped down on defense, forcing 21 turnovers and 24 percent shooting by UNCW as the #20/18 ranked Hens cruised to a 69-37 CAA victory at the BCC...Elena Delle Donne scored 23 points, pulled five rebounds, and tied a career-high with five assists to lead the way...Delle Donne had a streak of three straight 30-point games snapped as she played just 26 minutes, giving way to the Blue Hen backups for much of the second half...Delle Donne surpassed the 20-point mark for the 18th straight game dating back to last season...A total of 10 different UD players scored a point, 11 pulled at least one rebound, and seven dished out at least one assist...No Blue Hen player saw more than 28 minutes of action...Lauren Carra scored 12 points, Danielle Parker scored four points and pulled nine rebounds, and senior Jocelyn Bailey contributed six points and nine rebounds as the Blue Hens (13-1, 4-0 CAA) won their third straight game and remained unbeaten in league play...The Blue Hens dished out a season-high 19 assists on 31 field goals...Delle Donne and Kayla Miller each dished out five assists while Akeema Richards and Trumae Lucas contributed three helpers apiece...UNCW (8-7, 1-3 CAA), which was playing the 1,000th game in school history, struggled offensively all night, hitting just 14 of 59 shots from the field (23.7 percent) and just 2 of 17 three-point attempts (11.8 percent). The Seahawks also committed 21 turnovers and were outrebounded 46-37 by the Blue Hens...No Seahawk player managed to reach double figures for points but Karneshia Garrett led the way with eight points and nine rebounds and Abria Trice contributed eight points.
