tarting with the 1985 season, UCF jumped into the D-I ranks and it did not take long for the Knights to reach the postseason. Since playing as an independent program and reaching the 1989 NCAA Tournament, the Knights have made 11 NCAA regional appearances, won six A-Sun Tournament titles and four regularseason crowns. The Knights now churn out professional players at an average of four pro contracts signed every year, including three that were selected in or signed after the 2013 MLB First-Year Draft.
