-Played for coach Chad Grabowski at Mount Dora High School -Enrolled for classes at UCF in January 2010 -Named First-Team All-Central Florida by the Orlando Sentinel -A four-time all-area and all-county pick -Named honorable mention all-state as a sophomore -Played in the Central Florida All-Star Game -Was also recruited by Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Stanford and Tulsa

-Did not see game action while working with the scout team

-Coached by Daryle Heidelburg as well as Torrian Brooks (wide receivers) at Miami Norland -Noted not only for his size, but his leaping ability and knowing where the ball is at all times -Helped lead Miami Norland to the 2011 Class 5A state championship -The Vikings’ offense averaged more than 43 points during the state playoffs, capped by a 38-0 victory over Wakulla in the state title game -In that title game, Owi shined catching four passes for 69 yards -Team was committed to winning a state title in 2011 after finishing runner-up in Class 3A in 2010 -Norland’s offense was heavily rush-oriented behind Rivals100 running back Randy “Duke” Johnson, but when the Vikings did pass the ball it usually went to Owi, who led the team with 32 receptions for 550 yards -Caught 14 of Norland’s 19 touchdown passes in 2011 -Earned Class 5A Honorable Mention All-State status -Was an All-Miami Dade County First Team selection from the Miami Herald -Also participated in track and field and baseball as a left fielder -Was a member of Miami Norland’s National Merit Society, National Honor Society and Green Club -Recruited by several schools, including Bowling Green, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Duke, FAU, FIU, Illinois State, Iowa State, Purdue, USF, West Virginia, Western Kentucky and Wisconsin -Received scholarship offers from Purdue, Illinois State, Buffalo and Bowling Green

-Received two starts and appeared in 10 games overall -Posted 21 tackles with two break-ups and an interception -At Akron 8/30: In his first collegiate start at corner, recorded six tackles (two solo), while forcing and recovering a fumble -At Ohio State 9/8: Had six tackles (three solo) -Southern Miss 10/13: Notched an interception while recording two tackles -At Memphis 10/20: Made a solo tackle versus the Tigers -At Marshall 10/27: Recorded two tackles, 0.5 TFL and two pass break-ups -UAB 11/24: Tallied three tackles

-Missed the first half of 2011 due to an injury before working with the scout team

2010 - True Freshman

-Conference USA All-Freshman Team -Saw action in 10 games and ended the season with 15 tackles, one interception returned for a score and one forced fumble -At Tulane 11/20: Had a career day registering seven tackles (seven solo) and intercepted a pass taking it 100 yards for a touchdown on the last play of the game -At Memphis 11/27: Recorded one tackle and forced a fumble on the opening kickoff to start the second half

-Son of Ernest Hatter and Kathy Ozerities -Major is interdisciplinary studies

-Spent the season with the scout team

-Worked with the scout team

-Coached by Telly Lockette at Miami Central -Was a high school teammate of current UCF players Jeff Godfrey, Jamar McClain and Josh Reese -The 2010 Miami Central team defeated Orlando’s Dr. Phillips, 42-27, in the Class 6A state championship at the Florida Citrus Bowl -Saw action at both linebacker and defensive tackle, as well as fullback -Had 84 tackles, 22 sacks and three forced fumbles as a senior -As a junior, had 125 tackles and 20 sacks, nine forced fumbles and one interception returned for a touchdown -Listed at No. 64 on Bill Buchalter’s 2011 Florida Top 100 -Rated with three stars from Rivals, ESPN and Scout -Scout placed him No. 57 for the middle linebacker position nationally, while ESPN ranked him No. 93 -Rivals listed him No. 12 among its top 55 players in Miami-Dade County at the start of the 2010 season -Was a second-team All-Miami-Dade County running back selection as a junior -Miami Herald had him as the No. 13 prospect in Miami-Dade County -Also played on the basketball team -Chose to be a UCF Knight over offers from Clemson, West Virginia, USF and FIU

-Parents are Anthony Pace and Altrese Lewis -Major is interdisciplinary studies

-Named the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the Memphis game

-Played offensive tackle for Florida Class 3A power American Heritage and head coach Doug Socha -After appearing in the 2010 Class 1A title game as a junior, helped guide American Heritage back to the top in claiming the 2011 Class 3A state championship
