Research Opportunities

Summer Student Fellowship Program

In Year 4 of the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science Program students have the opportunity to enroll in an optional directed studies course.

The Summer Student Fellowship Program provides undergraduate and medical students with research or clinical experiences in laboratory medicine under supervision and mentorship of the Department’s Faculty. Visit the BMLSc Program website for more information.

Under the guidance of a faculty supervisor, students carry out and participate in all aspects of the research project — from the initial research design through to experimentation and data analysis. Past students have pursued diverse areas of research, including: ff Genome-wide
