Law-Enforcement Defensive Tactics Instructors Course Who we are: Masada Tactical, LLC was established in 2007. Masada Tactical prides itself in providing the most current and effective training methods to date. Teaching the original Israeli Combat System taught today to Israeli military and security forces, as well as many military units and law-enforcement agencies worldwide. Our instructors were selected as the lead DT instructors for the MD Police and Correctional Training Commission, and borrow on decades of tactical and operational experience. For more information please visit our website: www.MasadaTactical.com. The course: The 6 day course covers all the necessary objectives and skills for law-enforcement defensive tactics instructors. These include: ♦ Combatives ♦ Personal Self-Defenses ♦ Ground Survival ♦ Weapon Defenses and Retention (including firearms, edged weapons and blunt objects) ♦ Restraint and Control. Class also includes lessons on special issues with DT and Police, transfer of knowledge, and safety in training. The skills are taught, re-enforced via scenario based drills, and evaluated. Participants are expected to complete the course with a minimal score of 85 percent in the three tests: skill, mock-teaching, and written exam. This course is extremely demanding physically. Who can attend? Participants must be sworn and current law-enforcement officers or active military. Individual waivers may be given on a case-by-case review of our staff. Participants must be in good physical condition, and must pass a Cooper’s Fitness Assessment at a score no lower than 60% (to be administered on the first day). Dates: Location: Cost:
