Diagnosis of LD/ADHD: What Does it All Mean? Sometimes getting the answers can be scary, but when you know what you are dealing with, it is a lot easier to solve the problem. Here you will learn how a diagnosis can be obtained and what you should gain from the information learned through a psycho-educational evaluation.

A primary focus of the workshop will include a detailed look at the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students and what it requires of school districts, particularly in light of the requirements of House Bill 5. Discover how parents can use this plan, along with some commonsense strategies, to be a strong advocate for appropriate educational services for gifted children in their community.
